Ruby Tuesday

Good place for a quick stop off of the highway, just don't expect too much. I like the baby back ribs, my wife likes the salad bar. The service can be hit or miss, I actually prefer the bar tender. My last meal was a roast beef sandwich with gravy on the side. Not much meat on the sandwich and the gravy was very salty.

We went here on a Saturday evening to meet family for dinner. There were 8 of us in our party. Our server was exceptional. She was genuinely friendly, attentive, and gave us great service. When asked to check ingredients in something, she did so happily and without hesitation. Even though it was fairly quiet in the restaurant (oddly, not busy), she came around to each of us when we ordered instead of standing at the end of the table. That personal touch is nice. Food was good, but I felt the prices were higher than they should be. A couple of entrees ordered at our table came with a vegetable side which I felt was small, should've been a larger portion I thought. Burger I had was good, but not exceptional. Bacon on the burger was great, cooked to perfection and crisp. Fries were the best part, they were delicious! I did not personally get the garden bar, but others at our table did. It looked fresh and well stocked and they enjoyed it. Beer choices are lacking. You have your typical macros on tap, but no real craft beer to choose from, which is disappointing. They did offer Stella Artois and a seasonal winter lager, so at least there was something semi-different.

We found it a little strange that this restaurant was not very busy on a Friday night. We had just drove by other restaurants in the area that had people lined out the door. We hadn't been to this restaurant in quite awhile so we decided to give it a shot. No waiting. We kinda know why now. Our waitress was very nice but she had very few customers. The menu had become very expensive for this kind of restaurant. I decided to get the all you could eat salad bar. This was $11.99, one of the cheapest things on the menu unless you wanted a hamburger or a appetizer. The salad bar had been setting for quite awhile. Not to fresh to say the least. My wife had a appetizer. I quess the best thing about the experience was the waitress was kind enough to give me the salad bar as a add on to the appetizer, in which it only cost us$3.99 for the bar. We probably will not go back for awhile. Maybe things will change? Croutons are still the best around.

Everyone was friendly, and the food was great! We have been here many times with the same result! The food comes out hot and fresh. We always love getting the salad bar. They are always bringing out fresh food to replenish the items. Very close to Interstate 81 on and off ramps, so if you are traveling, this is a good place to stop. They have a bar with tvs playing whatever sporting event of the day, if you want to watch the game. Highly recommend a visit!
