Kenny's Grill & Ice Cream

I have heard of Kenny`s Grill but never stopped until today. I ordered the Kennyburger combo as the standard. It comes with a tender juicy (2) burger patty with (everything of) cheese, pickle, lettuce, tomato (red), & onion on a soft bun. Very nice flavor, and as voted one of the top burgers in the area it shows! Fries are thin-cut and crispy not limp even when cool. Drinks are self serve. Total price of combo was $9.10 Affordable and better than the nearby big chain burger for same price! Dessert was the Brownie Sundae with nuts and whipped cream. Price $5.30. Scru,pious and more than I could eat! (Thanks to my server!) The premises is bright and cheerie and is exceptionally clean. Menu has a wide variety of affordable items from burgers to chicken to shrimp. It is very busy at lunch and dinner times but can get good service from what a friend tells me. Definitely not "fast-food" but classic American Grill done right!

Went to get non-dairy ice cream & shakes like they advertised. Turns out their non-dairy ice cream is LACTOSE free and very much has dairy in it. Came that close to an allergic reaction because they dont know what they are doing. If they are that inattentive with the way they list their menu items, I only imagine the amount of cross contamination in their kitchen. Yuck. Not going back.

It's hard not to love this place. The times we go, they are busy but the staff hustles to serve everyone. The food is good and it's reasonably priced. The French fries are fantastic. Portions of ice cream are more than enough. I get a kids size and it's plenty. It's nice seeing a business thrive and to see families with children enjoying a meal together. We always have a good time at Kenny's.
