Tgi Fridays

The restaurant appeared to be fairly clean and so were the bathrooms. Our waitress was nice and service was pretty good. The decor of the restaurant was very vintage themed (maybe from 60’s era?) The music they played was from the 80s though but I enjoyed it. Their mudslides and Long Island iced teas are 2 adult beverages that I highly recommend trying. Unfortunately the food, I’m not sure what to say about that because it tasted very different than before. Idk if it’s because of them changing their menu, if they tweaked a few of their menu items but they no longer serve the lemon butter broccoli, they replaced that with plain broccoli , the whiskey glazed sauce is thinner and runnier than before and has a bit of a kick to it and isn’t thick and sweet like it used to be. Also the chicken was kind of mushy.. like it was undercooked. The mashed potatoes were the best part of the meal. I would probably return for drinks but skip the food next time...as the quality has went downhill since last year.

We have stopped here a few times when travelling and always have a good meal. We tried the fried green beans this time and they were really tasty. We also had a new drink that had flavored balls in it, similar to bubble tea, but not. The balls in the drink were more a novelty than actually flavorful so we will not be having that again. The desert of red velvet cake was yummy in my tummy.

Bucket of Bones appetizer was not heated enough. Tasted like it was reheated. $5 Long Island Iced Tea special was fruity and weak, plus glass is narrowed on the lower half with a thick glass bottom so serving appears larger than actual serving size. Music was not to my liking. Served after 11 pm and the place had barely any patrons.

Food was great. Server was not great. Can't remember her name but she was not able to answer simple questions about the menu and never checked back to see how we liked our food and we had to stop her and ask for drink refill. There were 3 tables that got up and left while we were dining and no attempt was made to clean up or bus those tables. They were still cluttered as we left. The food, however, was served good and hot, was very delicious with generous portions and was reasonably priced.

Had take out from here recently, and it was good. Fries weren't too soggy. I tried a Beyond Burger, and it was pretty good. They did forget a couple of toppings (sauce and tomatoes) but it still tasted good. Portion sizes were good for the prices. This has never been one of my favorite chains, but it was a good experience.

Service was absolutely horrendous, especially considering there weren't many people there. When we were finally able to order, it took forever for the food to arrive. My burger had a massive lump of cold cheese product on it (was supposed to be melted on the burger). When I told our server about the cheese, I was asked if I didn't want it on the burger. I said I just didn't want it to be cold, could he please warm it up. I got a snarky look. Took forever for the burger to come back. We literally had to go looking for our server twice during this visit. Food was okay, but service is super important to me. I'm hoping it was just a fluke. Regardless, I'm never going back.
