Antonio's Pizza

Decent food, but terrible service. First I want to make it clear that I have no problem with food or the delivery service itself, for the management however... I had such a horrible experience with Antonio's pizza tonight. I ordered a pizza for delivery just as I did in the past and everything seemed OK. I wanted to pay with cash so that I can tip the delivery guy myself, but I only had one 100 dollar bill, so I ASKED if the guy would be able to give me change and THEY SAID YES. On delivery however, that wasn't the case. Nobody told the delivery driver to bring more cash for change. I thought it wasn't a big deal, I've had this happen to me before with other deliveries and there was always an alternative way to pay, I would just call them and have everything arranged. NOPE!!! I called and explained the situation and their response was: "oh well just send it back." WHAT? Did I order a pizza at 10pm on Wednesday because I had a turkey cooking in the oven?! I was exhausted from a long day and hungry, I ordered and was waiting 45 minutes for a meal before I had to go to bed since it is a workday tomorrow, what was I supposed to do now that through a simple miscommunication error I had nothing, no food and no time or energy to cook? They explained that their system was such that the driver would have to go back and be refunded and a new order had to be placed and payed, I would have to wait additional 45 min, mind you it's well past 10pm now. At that point I was so taken aback buy their blatant disregard for me as a customer that I was at a lost for what to say. I then spoke with what had to be the rudest person there who once again treated me like crap and spoke with a tone of utter arrogance and contempt so much so that I had enough. I told them that they can have their pizza back and that I will never be ordering from them again to which he responded with "that's fine" well sir, if that's how you run your business I will make sure to stay well away. Disrespectful and rude to the customers, lack of any effort to resolve the issue, contempt for the people who order from them, just unbelievable. I'm all about giving second chances, but this was too much. No other place had service this bad. Anyone else would try to work with the customer in a way that inconvenience the customer the least, but not Antonio's. Why couldn't they charge my card and then worked it out with the driver? Would I have to pay the same to get a soggy cold pizza? Are you serious??? No offer of discount? Nothing? Needless to say, if you order from them make sure everything is right the first time and don't talk to them for too long or the uglies will come out.
