I have to say, sometimes old school is better! Place could use a little tlc, but the food and service were superb! We shared corned beef and pastrami combo and a Reuben sandwich with sides of slaw (not that loaded mayo kind), and their great potato salad, everything was great! Corona is keeping everybody in, so remember if you do go out to a restaurant, be sure a take care of the wait staff, they really depend on that gratuity!

I enjoyed the Deli Sandwich along with the potato salad and macaroni salad. The sweet tea was more like water. The chips and dip was a rip off.. The dip is ranch salad dressing.. Not very appealing. I will return for the sandwiches

Just enjoyed the best Reuben I've EVER HAD!!!! The meat was perfection, trimmed right, falling apart tender,grilled rye bread, and a side of killer spicy mustard. Fresh, crunchy slaw spiked with white pepper. My new best friend Leslie at the counter was amazing. Don't miss Chris!!!!

Stopped in here with a few colleagues for lunch. Was not disappointed. Waitress was kind and knowledgable. Food was fantastic. Bread was super fresh, and the meat and cheese were stacked high under the lettuce, onion, and mayo. The potato salad was awesome, too. All for under $8.

Great little deli with a diner atmosphere and has been open since 1981. The prices are very reasonable and the sandwiches are excellent. Service is quick and friendly. Although it may be difficult to find, located on the far left side of a strip mall of Independence Blvd. Highly recommended hidden gem of Charlotte.

Was in Charlotte for a Career fair and decided to try a Deli. Will say that the reviews are spot on. Cozy atmosphere, great people and the food is amazing. For not being from.the area this place makes me feel right at home . Will definitely visit again when in the area.

I was skeptical by the prices, but I must admit the food was good. The macaroni salad was lite yet flavorful and the submarine sandwich was very delicious and flavor packed. It's a diamond in the rough but it is delicious.

We ate lunch here and it was excellent. Everything is homemade and delicious. Highly recommend. The staff is super nice as well.

As always, our experience at Chris' Deli was awesome. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We shared the Chris' Special sandwich and a bowl of Chicken and rice soup. It is one of our favorites.
