This was such good choice! This rooftop lounge had some amazing views of the city and had really good food and drinks. There aren't tables inside just little cocktail tables. Gin and Juice was refreshing and yummy. Break bread platter is a great starter for multiple people. Birria grilled cheese was ok but the yucca fries were the star of the plate. Hummus platter was definitely great for munching with several hummus choices. Will come back during the warmer weather to enjoy the view in the evening outside.

Pros: *rooftop views on 3 sides of the city (thank you Brandi for the grand tour!!) *interesting seasonal drink menu *Cool artwork and lighting * Different seating areas great for year round *Monday night- no reservations needed Cons: *Vibe of the place is being a little self important and “on trend” but missing the details that could make the experience a 5 star -No physical menus (which would be fine except -Instead they have one TV screen, showing a QR code that you have to literally get up from your seat, depending where you’re sitting to walk over to pull a menu up. Not the end of the world, but easily remedied with a small card on the table that could be artfully set into a piece of marble or glass *My server was really nice, but could not really speak to the entire seasonal drink menu (maybe 12 items in all) I understand that people can’t eat certain things or don’t like certain things, but when you are charging $17 plus for a cocktail in Charlotte, it probably makes sense to make sure your servers are Uber trained on how to articulate what the drink is - tasting notes etc *No small snacks - I would’ve paid eight dollars for a bowl of Chex mix or assorted nuts… They didn’t have anything but appetizers like brussels sprouts which I didn’t really think went well with cocktails and I didn’t want to eat a bread platter at 9:30 at night. Which is when the kitchen closes. You don’t need a kitchen for non perishable snacks. Oh and they are profitable *20% service charge was automatically added to my check which was just for me. On the QR code menu, it explicitly states that 20% is added to parties of five or more. Not a single party. Again, not the end of the world, but I probably would’ve tipped my server higher but I was a little put off by it So is this place worth it to go?… Absolutely. Go have a great time and enjoy the view and the friends you are with and hopefully a bonus will be a few good drinks and some tasty bites

Came in tonight for the very first time with high hopes… I was not disappointed at all!! My server Mary Kate was on point in every way possible. She knew how to describe each entree and I went with her recommendation. The lemon pepper wings were easily some of the best I’ve had in Charlotte, perfectly seasoned and cooked exactly how l like crispy. Her second choice was the tuna nachos and they may have been even better than the wings if that’s possible. Super fresh toppings and everything worked together great. 9.7/10 rating I encourage everyone to give it a try.

This was my very first time to visit Nuvole, and it was impressive in SO many ways. They could rather easily let some things slide because of the great view and vibe, but they add superb friendly service at the bar to make it a true totally positive experience. My bar server Liz M was extremely welcoming and attentive. Thanks!

Had A Great Time Here. The Rooftop Views Are Amazing. I Had The Birria Grilled Cheese And The Rosemary Truffle Fries. The Food Was Very Good, Only Thing For Mẹ Is I Personally Didn’t Like The Broth. It Seemed Bland But The Sauce That Comes With The Fries Makes Up For It. The Food Price Is Pretty High So Expect To Pay No Less Than $15 For An Item Truthfully.

Beautiful view, great spot with fireplace. Whiskey sour is great, food is ok. Wouldn't recommend seviche with cucumber. It reminds me of house salad with seafood. Big pieces and unexpected ingredients. Octopus was overcooked, so we asked to redo it. Tuna nachos was ok. This place is all about view and location.
