Floyd's Home Cooking

Visiting from Boston, Not your fanciest place but they never claimed go be. Food was good. I prefer fresh not frozen fish (which they had trouble understanding this only means has never been frozen). Wife had whiting and fried wings it was great. I had meatloaf it was good too. I'm just really big on presentation and it looked like crumbled beef. Our meals were great. However, no one cared for the desserts we purchased. Banana Pudding or the sweet potatoes pie.

We had a five hour layover in Charlotte today so we asked local airport employees to recommend a place to eat. Floyd's was the popular choice. Only a 12 minute drive from the airport however as we pulled up to the location there were more than a few raised eyebrows at the fast food appearance of the restaurant. Not the best first impression. However, once inside we were greeted by friendly staff ready to take our orders (all nine of us). The food was delivered to our table fast and hot. The fried fish was excellent. The wings, a popular order with our group was the biggest hit. Six plump wings served hot out of the fryer. Greens, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes and gravey, yams all excellent sides and very large portions. The price, more than reasonable. Highly recommend Floyd's the nexr time you're laying over in Charlotte.

I just went today and got me some collard greens and some pork chop all this stuff is homemade I went to know what he was on Tuckaseegee Road they move the freedom Shopping Center I went there the end and I'm going to mow Nation Ford Road please sir the best home cook meal you want to buy I can't help for overloading my plate when I order you can't beat it it just like Mama used to cook it if you go once you'll be hooked I'm telling you what is smothered pork chop beef stew candy yams Outlet take my advice and go to Floyd's I am Charles stra ite I'm telling you you won't be sorry you went once you go you enjoy yourself so trifluoride and you always go back home cooking in the city
