Selwyn is were locals go and Charlotte's best kept secret for a college bar in South Park. This place is meant to be a college bar and outdoor patio to watch sports. Transfusion is the drink to get. There's a new burbon one that was released recently that's good too. Worth going to to be with friends and meet people. Not a place to chill and be quiet. If you are from out of town and don't know anyone there, don't come. If you are coming to Selwyn with your friends, get stay in the outdoor patio to watch sports and meet people. Food: Wings and pizza bar food is what I always get. It's bar food. Rating us based on bar food not sit-down restaurant quality food. Everything is ok but not the best for food. People don't come here to eat though, they come to drink and socialize, then by chance order food. If you want good food with drinks, go to Legion Brewery. If you want more bar or chill places to drink, go to bars on Montford.

Selwyn Pub has been the go to spot for some time now. Great atmosphere, food, and place to watch sports. However, It would not be the same place without the great staff that works there. One server in particular, Stephen, is always there with great attitude and attention towards his tables. He makes the experience that much better, and I always leave satisfied. Cheers to selwyn.
