The Casual Pint

In my lengthy experience at the pint that is casual, I have nothing but good things to say on how I was treated. Not only is my beer cold, it is waiting for me when I walk in the door because I am a local and the pint knows how to treats locals! I come to the pint to relish in my own thoughts as well as have deep deep discussions about life and politics which no one speaks of. All that said, the food is great, ALL bartenders are thoughtful, helpful, as well as knowledgeable on all the beers which are served. It does take thought to know all 35 beers. After all I come to drink and not really focus on the food. For all the doubters that come in the door who order 1 or 2 beers, what does one expect 5 star service at a 5 star restaurant with hostess and tuxedo wearing waiters?? It’s a bar, it’s a dive bar, it’s a place where locals enjoy one another as well as meet new people! That’s my take on the pint that is casual and you have a customer for LIFE!!

This place can pack a crowd. It’s a clean bar offering a great selection of craft beers to enjoy inside or purchase to-go. They also have an outdoor (enclosed for cool weather) dining area. Inside, there just isn’t enough seating for the crowds they get. They offer live music, dj’s, and even a drag show event. It’s a good atmosphere but I give it 4-stars only because it’s not a cozy type place. The owner is friendly and he talks with patrons. He has a good business going. Service is spotty. Sometimes there’s enough staff to wait on your table and other times you have to go to the bar to get a drink or request a food menu. The food has always been fresh and fair priced. Their pizza, chicken wraps, veggie wraps, southwest egg rolls, pasta salad side dish, sidewinders, and burgers have all been good tasting options. It’s a great place to meet for a drink or quick meal. It would also work for a casual date night.

AMAZING food!! They had karaoke when I went with my friends and the environment was very lively. The decor was awesome and they even had all inclusive bathrooms which is a big thumbs up from me. It is also very affordable! Regarding the staff: Our first waitress was rude, probably a bad night or is used to a certain time of regular but had she been our only server we definitely wouldn’t have come back. The waiter and waitress after that were phenomenal though. Delivered piping hot food, great recommendations, and made us feel very welcomed! Our waitress even picked our drink and it was one that had DEFINITELY caught our eye as soon as we walked in, an excellent choice! We will definitely be coming back, thanks casual pint! Edit: Bruce you gotta stop going after the 1 star reviews bud I promise you it isn’t worth your time keep up the amazing work y’all do

The Steele Creek area needed a place like the Casual Pint! They carry new and exciting varieties of beer, from local to the West Coast. Beers are always fresh & available on tap, and they offer a 40% off discount on building your own six pack. The food menu features a lot of bar favorites plus burgers, wraps, and bratwursts. I also enjoy the weekly activities like $4 off pints on Tuesdays which is also Trivia Night. “Wine Down” Wednesdays with $5 pours, Music Bingo on Thursdays, plus karaoke or live music on Fridays. Katrina, Cassidy, Emily, Alexis, Melissa, Courtney, Alex, Dakota, Justin, Megan, and of course Bruce & Nikki do a tremendously great job at keeping your glass full. Their taste for beer is very knowledgeable. Check ‘em out!
