Artango Bar & Steakhouse

I rarely write reviews but this warrants a review. We had the most amazing time at Artango. I work in the restaurant industry and my husband and I are big foodies. I think this is the best meat I’ve had in Chicago in a while… we shared the steak flight and it was amazing. When we were sat, our server was holding a baby for a couple who were out to eat so they could eat while the food was warm. The live music was nice and overall it was a fun-no-fuss-delicious night out. Highly recommend!

Artango Steakhouse was a lovely spot for a treat ourselves dinner and date night. The food, especially the popular steak flight, is fantastic. I asked for the waiter’s recommended wine pairing and it did not disappoint! The restaurant was a bit empty as we had an early dinner reservation but it filled up before we left. Great service, great food, and great wine! Worth a stop!

In love with this spot 🥰 once you walk in you’ll be amazed by the aroma that will take you somewhere else ☺️ I tried the ceviche plate that has trio types the avocado sauce was really yummy and one of a kind 🤤 Filet mignon medium was so pink and fresh 🤍with mini broccoli and mashed potato on the side😊 I got the chocolate cake for dessert with espresso martini ❤️ Many specialty cocktails and drinks the have 😍 It’s so authentic Argentine food🤤

This is a trendy Argentinian Steakhouse with urban artsy decor that fits well in a converted industrial type setting. It has the feel of Buenos Aires and the music was tango and jazz. We had a super nice server named Nenad who recommended the Ceviche Trio which was excellent. We then had the Asado de Domingo for 3 people which was a large beef rib, New York Strip and a Tenderloin. The meet was cooked to perfection and the food was delicious. It came with 3 different steak sauces, a large bowl of fresh mashed potatoes, and a large salad. The food came out promptly and was cooked perfectly. We were very pleased with the huge portions.

Artango Bar & Steakhouse is an amazing Argentinian restaurant. The atmosphere is fantastic, with great music playing in the background. They serve exceptional steaks and a variety of authentic Argentinian dishes. We started with a delicious assortment of empanadas and Provoleta, a grilled provolone cheese served with a tasty baguette. The LANGOSTINOS A LA PARRILLA (grilled langoustines) and PULPO A LA PLANCHA (grilled octopus) were fantastic seafood appetizers. The octopus was tender and flavorful, while the grilled prawns paired perfectly with crispy leeks. We also couldn't resist ordering the ASADO ARGENTINO for 2 PEOPLE, a generous dish featuring various mouthwatering meats.

Artango Argentinian Steakhouse offers a culinary journey that delights the senses. The short ribs are simply amazing, boasting melt-in-your-mouth tenderness and robust flavors. The empanadas are equally impressive, with a delicate golden crust and delicious fillings. While the steak could have been seasoned more, it still delivers a satisfying experience.
