It's close enough to walk to so no problem about a designated driver. On a warm summers day sitting outside with a cold Beverage is a good way to end the day. It's on a main road so don't expect a river frontage. But the staff are cheery and service is good. The regulars are a happy bunch and the atmosphere is what a pub should be. Use it or loose it. Support your local pub.

Came here Monday for some lunch as the pub down the road was closed was thoroughly surprised at the quality of food, the chef on shift did not disappoint all meals came out promptly and everything was piping hot and delicious. 10/10 from us 😊 deffo coming back for food in the future!

Went for Sunday roast as stated on website but they didn’t have any when I got there. So had very nice chicken masala. Had directors bitter and black razor beer. Very nice. I booked table online but was told when I arrive that no need to book table as they don’t reserve tables.

Had a great time performing at Billy James' songwriting showcase at the Stourvale. It was a lively and friendly venue.

Such an incredible night of Original music hosted by the amazing Billy James. Billy takes care of his musicians so well, always on standby to adjust sound production. And it was so lovely hearing and being apart of fresh new music and supporting our local talent. Can't wait until the next one. Such a great vibe at Stourvale, everyone so encouraging and engaged in the music.
