Bottle + Stone

Had a last minute Friday night dinner here this weekend! Easy to book online and nice small menu to choose from. And if you live close to or in the city it’s just a short bike ride in! Perfect place after a long week back in the office! To start, the service was excellent, so friendly, informative and just the right vibe! We had the fries and mozzarella sticks to start, both really good, the tomato sauce dip on the mozzarella was so simple but so delicious! Would’ve liked them a tad warmer but excellent and tasty! Then we had the spice up your slice and the ricotta potato pizzas, both wonderful! Crunchy, fluffy base and toppings full of flavour! Yum! I also had an Aperol Spritz! My fave! Can’t wait to come back and try the other items! May even pop over some day for lunch 🍕

Love this place! 2nd time dining the other night, and it didn't disappoint. We shared a half and half slab of pizza ... and it was delicious! The base isn't like your usual wood fired pizza ... it's a super crunchy tasty base which made our pizza experience totally different. Great friendly staff and a cool atmosphere in the restaurant. We'll be back :)

Fabulous experience at Bottle & Stone. Attentive service, great laid-back vibe with fantastic tunes and superb food. Also, place was comfortable and not too hot, some restaurants can be like furnaces and it was cosy, warm and perfect. Definitely come hungry and preferably with eager and willing accomplices to help! I really like that you can choose from a single slice, all the way to a whole pan, depending on how hungry you -or said accomplices- are. Bottle & Stone is an off the beaten track gem that is well worth discovering and sharing with family and friends, for great food and good times. Looking forward to visiting again.

I believe I have found a new favourite pizza restaurant. Bottle and Stone has a fantastic store aesthetic and a very nice taste in music (I must admit, I'm a sucker for old school hip hop). The food is incredible, offering a moderate range of creative and flavourful pizzas, available in quarters, halves and full-size portions, available to mix and match if you want to try more than one flavour. My favourite flavour was Homage Fromage, the amazing blend of several cheeses with the crunchy almonds on top was to die for. Overall, I rate Bottle and Stone a perfect 10/10. A gem of Christchurch Central.
