J & W Sandwich Shoppe

Ok the atmosphere is not were you would take a date and you might think the place is closed up, but that really is part of the charm. I saw a recommendation for sandwiches under $10 on yelp and I have only spent more than that when I fed two. The food is amazing. I am really picky about meat and normally a Jersey Mike's person, but I have been converted and am there 1-2 times a week. Closed on the weekends. You have to try. You will not be disappointed.

Great sandwiches, great people, great price!! Eric’s been wanting to visit since he saw how ‘fat’ the sandwiches were and they did not disappoint! Ngl at first we thought the maps took us to the wrong door but when you walk in the shop is covered with cool sports memorabilia that was so fun to scan over while we waited for our food! Super busy with people placing orders over the phone and coming to pick up their orders!

Don’t judge this place from the outside! Overall good value and good service. I’ve been here a few times and always order something different but consistent quality every time. I tried a call-ahead once and the order was slightly off but they quickly corrected it and were nice about it. The sandwiches are generous and the soups are delicious. This place isn’t a secret so it can get pretty busy at peak lunch time. Be prepared if you are in a rush and street parking gets crowded. Even when they are busy the staff seems upbeat.

It dont look like much from the outside but man this is THE place in all of Cincinnati to go for a deli sandwich. Their sandwiches are delicious and HUGE and come with a pickle and bag of chips. All for a very reasonable price ($7-8 bucks). We recently tried their seasoned french fries too and they were delicious as well. Must try.
