Arta was great server & friendly & very attentive. (She was Gios daughter).) Loved our experience there, very friendly environment & spoke 2 the owner. Gio came 2 our table & chatted about the business/ food history & loved his passion 4 good food & recipes. hugged my husband & friends husband on the way out even! All the food was all amazing, desserts, house + oil & vinegar dressing w/ salad & entrees! tiramisu & canolis r a must have! Will definitely return thanks guys 4 a great night! lemon chello cake was awesome!

My husband and I are from Germany and love authentic Italian food. We ordered something to take out from Giovanni's. We had the Stuffed Shells and the Rigatoni, both came with a small side salad and Garlic Knots. The food was delicious and perfect for a cozy Sunday evening on the couch! What impressed us the most was Giovanni's incredible hospitality. There needs to be more people like him in this world. - We would love to come back!

Great food. I had the baked pasta trio, while my wife had the tortellini alapana with chicken. We both enjoyed our meals enormously. I wished the menu had mentioned the meals came with side salads and garlic knots, as I ordered garlic bread and didn't need to. The garlic bread was pretty good, though. We will definitely be back.

Fun little Italian diner. Very basic, open seating areas with a family atmosphere. Food was solid. The free salad is just a tiny bowl of lettuce. The cheese bread was pretty meh, don't really recommend. Chicken Parm was good, but mostly breading and not much chicken, although you do get two strips. The garlic knots were dry, but absolutely heavenly with the red sauce of the chicken parm. Tv was up playing sports. No free wifi. Service was quick and friendly, although it can get rather busy. Recommend for a quick and solid Italian food.

The best Italian I've had in Cincinnati! I had the pasta combo with lasagna, manicotti, and a stuffed shell. OMG - it was DELICIOUS!! Entrees also include a side salad and garlic knots. We arrived around 4:30pm on a Saturday and waited about 20 minutes to be seated. When we went to order, our server informed us the kitchen was backed up and our food could take up to an hour. We said that was fine and expected a long wait for our food. Our food came out within 20 minutes! This place is a top pick for homemade Italian!

Our server wasn't much on small talk. The garlic knots and salad (with their delicious oil and vinegar house made dressing) were divine. I had their linguini with clams, which was worth the wait. My husband had their spaghetti with sausage in their red sauce. He almost ate the whole HUGE portion in one sitting.
