Denny's

This place needs to be shut down or taken over by new management. Because of the service I received, I’ll never eat at dennys again. This experience was awful. I placed an online order and not only did they not give me what I asked for, they also didn’t include the milkshake I ordered and instead of offering a refund, they told the DoorDash delivery person to call me and notify me. Then once I received my food, it was not correct at all. I tried calling but no answer so I had to leave my home, after ordering delivery for a reason, and head to the restaurant. After asking for the manager I was sent a shift lead who knew absolutely nothing about the refund protocol or anything really. She said she was the manager but there’s no way and if so that explains everything (one of the employees maybe it was her, not sure, but they brought their kids to work) && not only did I not receive a refund (it’s supposedly pending after requesting it 3 weeks ago) but they “corrected” part of my order, but really they just threw away the hash browns and threw my sandwich on the grill. I knew because the sandwich still had hash browns inside which those weren’t even suppose to be on there. The customer service received was awful, the food awful, resolution awful. Here’s the photos, first is what I ordered-grand slam & then what I received first and then what I received after. Yes I ate the fries because I was starving and didn’t notice the hash browns inside the sandwich until after.

The food was very tasty because I was walking with little time, one was another order at all I did not charm the food the service was very good the only thing a bit late but it is understandable Only plane 2 waitresses in the place and the place is almost full. They have to hire more staff at least for the weekends even when they left the place avin months with food from other clients that but everything else was seen in the clean place and I managed to look at the kitchen and it also looked very clean.I plan to return to eat here before I leave Indiana

ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. This location had an issue with employee walkout. Understandable. Not upset about the wait time, which was over an hour. What I am absolutely LIVID with is the fact that we only got half of our food because they were out of potatoes. No substitution was given. And the worst part... the part that has my blood absolutely boiling is the fact my children were given ROTTEN grapes. I don't care what is going on in the kitchen this unbelievable. Shameful. There is mold on these grapes. Who in the world would think that is okay to give to someone? Much less on a child's meal. I have never been this upset with a restaurant in my life.

Great place to go in the morning, if you want to stand in a dirty lobby for 5 minutes. Went in, straw wrappers and dirt the moment you walk through the door. Stood waiting to be seated for 5 minutes while listening to employees gripe about something in the back, while the one customer in the place looked regretful he was there. Left and went to Bob Evans almost within spitting distance, the place was nice, clean, and I was seated and had my order in in literally less than 2 minutes. I typically love a Denny's, but that place needs new management or something. Avoid.

Servers were absolutely wonderful, food was extremely disappointing. I suspect a drunk teenager could waltz into the kitchen and make superior fare. I should have thought twice when the bag-wielding gentleman I walked in next to slammed his take-out on the counter and hissed "I wouldn't feed this $#/+ to my dog!" As for my order, the cinnamon roll pancakes were a soggy pile of barely cooked batter with no cinnamon on half but so much on the other half that it literally crunched like I was eating mouthfuls of sand. Grilled cheese sandwich was two pieces of flaccid, greasy, once again barely cooked sourdough with still cold, unmelted slices of Kraft Singles tossed in the center. "Extra crispy" hash browns were sonehow dripping with orange grease yet so undercooked as to be almost indistinguishable from raw potato. Not sure how you botch something as simple as a grilled cheese sandwich, but they managed to do so. If there were an Oscars for terrible food and abysmal presentation, this Denny's kitchen would sweep the entire show.

Called about 10 different times today and the phone rang until it hung up, so I assumed they were closed, but they weren’t. Went into the restaurant to order my food to go and no one came to the counter for 15 minutes. I feel really bad for the workers cause they were SUPER nice, they’re just clearly overworked and severely underpaid. You can’t expect 1 cook and 1 server to run the whole restaurant, that’s so stressful. They said they had 2 managers quit this week. Pay your employees properly and you’ll keep them!

Worst experience I've had with any restaurant. Took them 30 minutes to seat us when there was only one customer in the entire building. Then waited another 30 minutes for the waitress to come take our order when my son got his drink I took the lid off to pour it in his sippy cup and there was what looked like thin wood shavings or grass in his drink. After taking our order it took the waitress 45 minutes to come back and tell us they were out of a product and couldn't make what we had ordered. I will never spend my money here again.
