Old Chicago

Ahhhh, Old C's, as my dear friend The Professor always named "this place"❗️ Been a fan of Old Chicago's now for over 30 years, and when it was downtown in Colorado Springs, it was such a treat but now moving North and East, I've found my 2 favorite places 1 year off of Powers next to the Best Buy, and wayyy down South at the Old Chicago's in Tinseltown! But tonight, we're UPTOWN at Powers for our Christmas party of our wonderful Memorial Hospital Laboratory Staff and that would include everyone on Evening Shift! We always have a great time with each other, We care about one another, We support one another even when we don't agree with 1 another. So tonight again, for the umpteenth time we celebrated our Christmas party with one another, exchanging gifts, having a few beers/drinks, laughing and enjoying the conviviality like people should in this wonderful season of giving. Austin, our server, was phenomenal...making certain we had plenty of food, and as high quality servers do, inquiring how everyone is doing! Old C's has the BEST pizza in town, no contest, and yet, their ENTIRE menu is a treat for anyone, at any age! Thanks again(!!!) Old C's for a wonderful Christmas gathering! We had an Outstanding Business lunch today with a few friends. We received "Stellar" Service. Our server Stellar was very friendly and helpful. She was very attentive with refills; clearing dishes and checking on us. Old Chicago is a wonderful place to eat in the bar, dining room, or patio this time of year. We enjoyed some nachos, wings, and Pizza today. Old Chicago is right off North Carefree and Powers. Old Chicago Pizza Taproom is a great place to meet friends for Happy Hour or take in a game, with all of their Big Screen TV's. I would highly recommend Old Chicago Pizza plus Taproom to everyone.

We ordered on a Friday night and it was super busy when we picked up our order, but it was ready at the time it said it would be. I must also mention our order was very large having multiple kids meals and appetizers as well as pizzas and calzones. The customer service was awesome and assured me they checked 3 times to make sure everything was correct. I really appreciated that. The food was absolutely delicious. The ingredients all tasted super fresh. The only thing that was unfortunate was on 2 of my children’s kids meals their burgers were a little too overcooked and it was hard for them to bite through the meat. Wasn’t a deal breaker for us because there was plenty of other food but just may not opt for a burger next time.

Old Chicago is one of my favorite places to grab beer and a pizza. They have a wide range of beers on tap and their pizzas are pretty dang good. At lunch they offer a pizza and salad special on weekdays. You get an individual pizza and unlimited salad for under $10. That’s a great deal! Plus, it’s a great place to unwind with friends after work or catch a game on the weekend.
