Wg's Wings

Menu is chicken wings, chicken strips or salad as the cook couldn't get the grill started! Were brought our sides as an appetizer and couldn't get a refill on drinks. The plain tenders were just soaked in grease and the bbq tenders I ordered came out completely swimming in the most disgusting honey mustard sauce. When I told her I was given the wrong sauce she handed me the check. We ended up going to wendy's when we left. Save your time and money and go anywhere else!

Great wings. Best raw fries in town for years! No competition! (How can raw fries be THAT good, you ask? Taste and see!) Under new management, they've stepped up their game with renovations (new TVs... more TVs!) and a much better atmosphere than has been there for over a long, long time. There's a bar area for the sports fanatics too (only a few months until football!!!) So, yeah, with the food staying at a high level and now the other great changes, it's a cool place to take family, chill out with co-workers for Happy Hour or hang out and watch any and all sports with some cool folks. If you haven't already, I recommend you give it a shot!

UNDERSTAFFED! 1 cook and 1 waitress. Called in to place an order at lunch time, the waitress said it would take 15 minutes. Got to the restaurant, walked in and was not greeted. Waited in a line with no one else in it. Wasn't greeted until owner/manger walked in. At this point its been 25 minutes since I placed my order and the waitress finally gets to me. No update on the status of my food yet, I had to ask if my food was done. After all of that, my food was not even prepared to be cooked. There was no apology or explanation for my food not being cooked or the delay in service. Wish I had a chance to try WG Wings while under previous management. (Reviews were better)

WG's used to be GREAT. But since Lamar left as daytime cook and the waitstaff changed it has gone downhill greatly. The burgers used to be FANTASTIC. But now they are a shadow of what they used to be. The Wings are under-sauced and feel smaller than they used to be. I've been going here for 5 years and it /was/ a great place to eat. Now it's just an /okay/ place to eat. Still better than Nick's down the hill, though. So there's that.
