Panera Bread

I am big on cleanliness, and I don't know what it is with Paneras here, but in the Midwest they were clean. The people here are lazy, and the epitome was sitting on her butt piddling on her phone when we walked in, and 90% of the tables were dirty. She was not busy; I don't understand. 7-8-22 Latest update in photo. If the men's urinal looks this way, imagine what their kitchen looks like. I only get coffee here.

Working at Panera Bread may have been the worst decision I have ever made. One thing I heavily enjoyed is communicating with different customers and trying to give everyone the best experience they have. But mainly is the staff wise. Also, I took pictures on how the place look and the food look. I would have time to try to do something about it, but when you’re the only person who had to run the register for the whole breakfast segment…can’t really do anything about it to be honest. Also I really do feel bad for everybody to purchase some high priced food, that doesn’t please them. I tried serving and working with different customers the best way I can but, having to be the only cashier until 1 or 2 pm, it’s so terrible for me. I had to make drinks, prepare bagel orders, getting pastries, running the register. It be times that I wanna cry so badly, because I can’t really get any help from the rest of the employees (excluding maybe a person or two people who would willing trying to help). For the ones who come in the morning to get like bagels and coffee and all. Thank you for your awesome and amazing service you guys give to me. And for the ones who I managed to give them a difficult time with their order, I am heavily and truly sorry. I wish there would be some way to repay each and everyone back. For the ones who looking for the jobs to start off with, you can work at Panera Bread, but not this location. It’s already bad with staff, you have to do everything by yourself, the food not really that good half the time. Payment wise…that’s a whole other story my friend. Just choose wisely and hopefully you won’t get caught up with any shenanigans like I did.

Not good!! Ordered delivery today since we had "FREE DELIVERY" offer and I'd fallen and hurt my foot. We ordered... one full steak sandwich $13.79 (was just OK) one kid sandwich $9.59 (was TINY for a $10 sandwich) one full Asian salad w/ chicken $13.09. (was all lettuce, 5 tiny pieces of chicken, one tiny dressing) That's it, nothing else. No drinks, no desert, nothing. Subtotal was $36.47. With tax, CONVENIENCE FEE, and %15 tip... THE BILL CAME TO $49. WHAT!! $50 for that little bag??? Never again.

Service is usually very slow here. Some staff are great and friendly, but there have been several times where I was ignored or just felt like a bother to them. Also, if you order a drink with your meal using the app, you still have to get in line to get the cup - on several occasions the preparation crew simply didn't have the cups available and just pointed me to the line at the cashier. What's the point of ordering online if you have to go get in line anyway?

Food was relatively fresh tasting and quick. However, I can’t get over how confused the staff seems, especially at the register. And this may be the filthiest restaurant I’ve been in this year. It takes a lot of complacency and laziness to make Panera a bad experience, but somehow the manager of the Panera Bread on Garners Ferry has done just that!!! Congrats I guess. I won’t be back until I get word that this place isn’t so gross.

I hardly ever go to Panera Bread and decided to try it out tonight. Well, maybe not! I got there right before closing and the young lady who took my order did so without hesitation. However, when I went down to pick my sandwich up, that young lady rolled her eyes and sucked her teeth that she had to make my sandwich. She then proceeded to yell down to the cashier, “Isn’t it 8:58?!” Needless to say I asked for a refund because I would prefer someone making my order that wants to. However, the manager was nice about the situation and refunded me.

This place made me laugh because the employees there really just do not care that you exist. I still waited but I found that amusing. It's really overpriced as is every panera but good selection. Caesar salad good (dressing is gluten free at the one I went to) but the chicken had a lot of fat left on it. Also the little red apples they give you are terrible just treat yourself and get the chips.
