Tropical Smoothie Cafe

This is not a location that I frequent or order from. I ordered a smoothie through the app for my daughter to pick up on her way to work. When she arrived within 10 minutes, it was no longer a smoothie. She asked the employee to remake it into a smoothie, which the employee refused. The employee said all she could do is a refund. But, it does not appear there has been a refund. It just seems like if it had been made correctly, it would still have a somewhat smoothie like consistency. And exactly how difficult would it have been to remake the smoothie? I should have absolutely read the reviews as if I had, I would have definitely sent her to Lincoln Street instead of this location. I frequented the West Columbia, Lincoln Street, Prisma and Two Notch locations many times and have never had any issues. Will most definitely steer clear of this location going forward.

I’ve given this location a try a few times since I work on post but each time there’s entirely too much ice and lack of flavor! There’s huge chunks of ice and ingredients. They may need to change out the blenders or have some type of training. The Killian Rd location is MUCH better. The employees are nice and professional but the smoothies need to be addressed.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This location has gone downhill. There seems to be no proper hygiene at all. Workers with long and thick hair with no hair nets. Gloves aren’t used to make food. Workers will go between touching their phones or scratching their heads and then proceed to make food without washing their hands.

I used to go to the store before the new owner bought it. And it was awful. But it has gotten a lot better with the new owner. But please fire the mix girl with a star tatoo on the neck. Her attitude is poor, body language terrible and she does not acknowledge you when you placing your order. She just walks away before with are even done talking. She has a very unwelcoming attitude . It has happened multiple times.

This store is awful. Its always a long line, the workers never look happy at this store. Plus the store was out of pineapples & white chocolate on 4/1/22. I proceeded with getting a sante fee quesadilla & peanut butter cup smoothie... I waited over 25 mins for the meal. The smoothie was ok but, the quesadilla was so freaking slack. I will never go back to this store. This is not my first time going here but it will be my last...#SAVE YOUR MONEY & GO TO ANOTHER STORE. #ITS ALWAYS A LONG LINE. #THEY JUST CANT GET IT TOGETHER.

I came to the location with sister and we waited about 15-20 mins but no one would take our order or even acknowledge us. There was a person that seemed to be in charge that was just berating the other employees and just kept pacing back and forth, would not look at us in the eye. Another group came in behind us and saw the dismay: they left almost immediately afterwards. We soon then followed too. I know this location is notorious for being slow but their service has gotten even worse than I thought was possible.

Absolutely ridiculous. I walked in and they said they were only accepting online orders because they are “short staffed”. I was told I can still place an order online. I’m not sure who’s running this place but you’re losing a lot of money with your absolute idiocracy. Explain to me how it makes sense for me to sit on my phone and order when you could take my order in store….people these days are on something, I swear.
