Addison's An American Grill

We got carry out, hopefully dine in would be a better experience. Portions to cost were a bit inconsistent. Wife's wrap was definitely not worth the price, but my half order of nachos could have fed a football team. Unfortunately, while the wife's wrap tasted good the same could not be said about my nachos. They stacked it so all the savory toppings melting together in the bottom, and the top was completely smothered in the way too sweet BBQ sauce. Tried cutting through and mixing to get an even distribution, but just couldn't get it to a point where I could bear eating it. Anyways, pretty unfair to nuke a place over one bad dish so I'll give it an OK for now and re-evaluate later. Edit: Went back for a dine in. Service was very good, but my wife's medium burger was burnt to a crisp and my beef sandwich was pretty dry. They fixed the burger once we pointed it out though, and it was fine.

Addison was a nice treat! With a pretty good wine selection I enjoyed a nice red blend while snacking on the crab dip appetizer. Dip was nice and creamy but could've had a lil more crab taste to it. Soon after our Salmon entree arrived. It was so tender and cooked to perfection with lovely sweet mustard sauce that accented it very well. Cheese potatoes were amazing!! Service was friendly and helpful when ordering. This was such a nice dinner and enjoyed our experience very much!

We LOVED it! We got: ● Port Filet; zero complaints. Amazing flavor and that chef knows what rare is. ● Mediterranean Pizza; that balsamic reduction takes you away from what you think you know about traditional pizza and the kalamata olives keep you there. It's on the smaller size but it was fantastic ● Cucumber Salad; this side is small and simple but a perfect ratio. Perfect kick of vinegar? These are usually too powerful or too bland, this was a perfect refreshing side ● Mojito Fries; these were our biggest gripe with the entire experience. I'm pretty sure the fries were cooked hours earlier then just rolled in some oil, garlic and maybe a hint of lime juice. Big miss here. ○ Pink Drink: a perfect Rumchata fruity cocktail! Sweet and perfectly balanced. ○ Pomegranate Basil Marg: not as perfect but still an 8/10. Very flavorful and definitely a good alcohol choice, as it peaks through the fruity side and bites you a bit. As much as we tend to try new restaurants quite often, this place is definitely going to get some repeats.

Ordered online for carry-out; an appetizer, 2 entrees and 2 kids meals..said it be ready in 10 minutes. I showed up exactly 10 minutes later and it was handed to 2 minutes after that. The crab Rangoon dip was delicious and salmon cooked perfectly. Only spent $50. Fantastic will definitely choose Addison’s again. The only suggestion I can come up with is I wish they offered anything to drink for carry out. Thank You Addison’s for lunch today:)

I am sure the owners are wonderful and people like this place, but the food is typical bland mid-west cuisine. There is no spice, the price is somewhat high for what you get, regardless if it is the American or Italian style food it falls flat, and I've never had a great time with staff. I guess if you are from Columbia you are used to it, but if you have ever traveled outside the area you know there are better spots to eat at.

Addison's offered me and my wife a great experience. The steak was perfectly cooked and the mashed potatoes had just enough butter in them. I only wish the calimari had a little less ginger and that the price was a little lower. But then again the price was still pretty good. Overall very good experience!

The restaurant displays a family friendly ambience with good food and very friendly and helpful staff. The spicy chicken sandwich is extremely hot and the nachos are different, but a pleasant surprise. The Addison’s burger is a great bar burger cooked to perfection. And last but not least the pulled pork sandwich 🥪 it was full of pork and not over-sauced while the potato chips were crispy with very little grease. It was an excellent experience that I would recommend to anyone in Columbia Mo.
