Papa Johns Pizza

My family is waiting. The pizza ordered hours ago for a specific time is more than half an hour late and the mood is tuning sour. It is not helped by the most annoying waiting music. Not sure what they are doing but you may want to try Shakespeare or on of the other excellent services in town. Time to switch....

Haven't had Papa Johns in years like 9+ years. We were craving something different for dinner and managed to decide on Papa Johns... Probably, because I had read about y'all in the news recently. Anyways, it was delicious and really hit the spot. I tried the Chipotle BBQ chicken bites and they were good but I really wish they had more sauce... My only complaint.

It took 1 hr and 50 mins to go 3.7 miles on a Thursday — a bit more than their “40-50 minute” estimate. Of course, calling to check on the overdue pizza is impossible because their system is automated & useless or else routes you to a call center. So there’s no way to talk to someone who’s actually near your food. When initially ordering, I said “credit,” the operator took my card info, and then pushed the “cash” button somehow (?!)), so ordering the pizza was a 10-minute ordeal — and, because the operator was at a random call center, he didn’t understand which local park I was at. So the driver went to the wrong address. Once it finally arrived, the pizza dough was raw, and the other ingredients lacked flavor. So, I drove it the 3.7 miles back to get my money back. Somehow, they were both busy and not surprised that their product is garbage.

After waiting an hour and a half, I called and asked for an update on my order... I was assured it was on its way; the tracker said it was on its way. No reason was offered as to why it was late. No email or text was sent informing me of any issue. After TWO HOURS, I called to cancel the order and get a refund. Again, no reason was given, no attempt to make it right. I understand that things go wrong, and that's easily something I can overlook. However, the lack of customer service was bad enough that we won't be ordering, again.
