Who Dat's

I went here for lunch and the staff was very welcoming. I ordered the Cujan sampler and my wife ordered the cowboy quesadilla. The food was mediocre and didn't hit my taste buds like I thought Cujan food would. Next time I hope the waiter recommends something delicious. Food look great and great price for the portions. Will come back but will try something else.

A friend of ours had a gift certificate that was good for appetizers and drinks. He'd won it at a silent auction awhile back. He called the Collinsville location to ask if it could be used there. They replied no it could not only at the location in Columbia IL. A group of us (6) met at the Columbia location on a Saturday night. We were surprised that it wasn't very busy as the other restaurants in town were. They have four gambling machines and there were only a couple fo people playing on them. My wife and I arrived early and waited for the rest of the group to show. They did and my friend told the waitress about the gift certificate. The waitress hadn't seen one like it.before. She took it back to the owner and returned quickly stating " this is from about five years ago and was under a previous owner and the current owner refused to honor it even some of it. My friend said could he talk to the owner and they didn't want to even do that. We left and they lost six tickets on what seemed to be a slow Saturday night. Went down the street to the Mexican place and they were busy but able to seat us and our waiter Corey was very attentive and competent with drinks and our order. Thanks for saving an otherwise unpleasant evening Corey !
