Rooster's Restaurant & Bar - Olentangy River Rd

We stopped by this location on a Saturday evening, 8pm-ish, after a Columbus sporting event and had a booth seat within a few moments. Wait staff was friendly enough and attentive to drink & food orders although, clearly, the big bar bills were getting priority. We both ordered quesadillas and had no complaints (the potato wedges saved the meal) and, while I know this is a “wings & beer” joint, I went out on the edge to order a recommended flavored margarita (cranberry). While I drank it, what a huge disappointment with neither cranberry nor tequila nor any real flavor coming through. I shared my belief of an overall bland & non-impressive drink with the waitress (no real response from her at all) and ordered a traditional margarita on the rocks (for $1.50 less than the “special”). A little more taste, but equally watered down and a waste of time and money…all with no sense of apologetic (even fake) attitude from our waitress. Moral of the story, at least for this night, if I wanted margaritas I should have hit up the nearby Mexican restaurant instead of roosters. Beer it is, if I come here a next time.

Always a go-to for wings, they are definitely some of my favorite in the city, I've been going to roosters since I was young. If you want a big ice cold beer and some great wings (or other great food as well) and watch a game this is the place to go. My favorite sauce is a mixture of nukiller and donkey, and the Korean BBQ is solid too. Service is always pretty good unless it's a big game day even then it's usually pretty good, unless you're trying to get a table.

I can honestly say that this play was remarkable for its food and services. The signs they have in there are hilarious and the food was delicious 😋. While Buffalo Wild Wings may have its name for its bone wings, Roosters I can honestly say is one of the most remarkable establishments to get well cooked, crispy, juicy boneless wings. The sauces are spectacular as well. This particular roosters however is one of the best ones I've gone to by far without a shadow of a doubt. Eat your heart out Roosters on 161, you got competition. If you want delicious food that's ready for you at take out or even dining in, in a matter of 10-15mins. Visit this Roosters. It may seem like a long wait, but the food is worth it in the end. Best Wings I have ever eaten. The skin was crispy, and the sauces were flavorful. We got the Carolina Gold and the Korean BBQ. Neither of which were very spicy, but did havea good combination of flavors. That combined with good service and a fun atmosphere that is family friendly make this a great place to eat. We did get curly fries and fried mushrooms as well. I wouldn't get those again. They were not special.
