Golden Corral

It was my 1st time checking out this place on Easter Sunday. However, it was extremely crowded! Still, everyone was REALLY nice, and all of the staff members made me feel like I was home. The fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and the mac and cheese were all amazing. The dessert bar was really yummy too! Because it was Easter, I understand that a few things ran out quickly. I'm giving this place only 4 stars because I wasn't impressed with the cleanliness of the bathroom. If the staff can do better in checking in the bathrooms, that would be great. Would I come back here again? Absolutely! Who can say no to come cooked cuisine? 😋

The place is well located and easy access, for me was very clean and efficient, but honestly, the food I didn't really enjoyed, not too many options, the fried chicken was with panko taste only, the little balls of fish the same only flour taste, the good that saved from one star was the Beef Sirloin, the ice cream machine was bad! You have ylto eat your ice cream in you plate, very simple cakes and nothing special, I am very grateful for you guys are doing but 2 people with 1 soda each refil was 51$ is too much money for this food, sorry but you need review the menu and make better fish.

Came for the first time last night with family. Apparently my dad helped remodel the place back when it was a JJ North ages ago lol. Regardless, it was a bit higher price than we expected and the senior discount was only $1 so that seemed redundant. The bowls were out when we got there and there was a period of time where there was no cutlery. I've worked at a buffet and at a salad bar so I know how busy it gets but the food kept either running out or sitting for too long. Baked potato was discolored inside from how long it had sat and was frankly unpleasant to eat. Hush puppies were hit or miss on whether they were overcooked or not. Dressings at salad bar were not labeled so good luck. In fact the labels for food were so mismatched and most you kinda just had to guess what it was based on how it looked. Things that were actually good: spinach salad, it was literally just raw spinach. Bread rolls, omg I wanted to take a whole bunch home. Zucchini, kinda hard to mess up Zucchini as it's already Mush the second you cook it. Pizza, if you've ever been to a buffet like fresh choice or sweet tomatoes or literally anywhere that has buffet pizza, it's exactly what you expect. The gravy was also good, the mashed potatoes were okay. Service was friendly but possibly short staffed as we were 3 courses in before someone took our dirty plates.

I have to tell you something... There were no bowls for the soup! And so I had no soup! Even worse, there wasn't even cottage cheese. My-golly, you know what else? There are no sprinkles for the ice cream. Not even creamed spinach! I found a spider on my chair. But, then I took a look around and remembered where I was. And, anyone who's ever dined at a Golden Corral could likely agree,- the golden corral is the practical definition of a 'great American dining experience.' Hosting a diverse crowd of friends and families, this smorgasbord-on-steroids is certain, usually, to have a flavor fit for any palate And, that's why this two star resurant comes in flying 4 full big ones! If we all eat with with our eyes, and the jello always tastes red, then I have admit, I love what I see at the golden corral!

Ever since Home Town Buffet closed. My family and I have been regular customers to the Watt Ave location since it opened. I can personally say our experience has always been wonderful. One thing I will mention is, not all of the staff members are friendly. However, there are four employees who I consider are the superstar of the Watt Avenue Golden Coral. I have observed these employees services throughout the years. No matter how busy, how stressful and chaotic business is. They are the most passionate, most consistent and proud employees at Golden Coral. They make every visit personal and take their time to build good relationships with each customers. It is very satisfying to see employees who are so dedicated to their job. The most satisfying part of this experience is to see these individuals transition into supervisors/managers from their hard work. I would like to give Kudos to Andrew and Caesar. Glad to see you guys in your new position.

My family of 5 dined here on Christmas Day 2021 around 2pm and it was a pleasant experience all around. The food here is fresh and delicious. And the customer service is fantastic! There is a gentleman who serves the steak and he is just so friendly, he makes sure to greet you and say something pleasant while still doing his job quickly and efficiently. Those persons who take your plates & cups, they are so quick and friendly. The restaurant is clean and well-stocked in the food items, like if they run out of something the tray is replaced pretty fast. I don't know who is now managing this location but they are doing a great job. Please don't change anything...we keep coming back here because you guys have been very consistent!

Very crowded. Hard to enjoy food with tables so close and covid not gone for good. Air conditioner was on and the area we where seating in was freezing to the point that half of my guest had to leave. It was near closing. The staff was good. They where cleaning all the while we were there and more then willing to help guest in any way they could. I understand businesses are trying to recover from what we all have gone through the past 2 years, but they could at least clear out some of the tables so there could be more space between tables and guest.
