How this place doesn’t have a solid 5 star rating, I will never know. We were driving through and thought we would try it. We both ordered giant cheeseburgers and let me tell you, this is the best burger ever!! The meat is perfectly seasoned, the bun was perfect. I ordered bacon on mine and the bacon was CRISPY and perfect!! So delicious. The food was HOT also, literally had to let it cook down. Our server was attentive and friendly. I ordered the coconut pie and it was delicious!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Want good food at a reasonable price? Visit Dipsy-Doodle! The no-nonsense experience is worth every penny. Once the original "skating car-hop" restaurant, the new digs- post-tornado- offers a sit-down dining experience with friendly staff, excellent food, and reasonable prices. Do try the mile-high pie.

Awesome service by some of the most friendliest waitresses anywhere. The Hamburger Steak was phenomenal and the food arrived quickly and was cooked just the way I asked. Dipsy Doodle is a must visit if you ever come to Cookeville and you can see the community pride when you walk in the door. Great job!

This was my first time going here. We went around 6pm on Friday (so I do understand it will be busy). We steated and our waiter came pretty fast and took our order. She brought our drinks and unfortunately we didn't see her again for about 15 mins. Our Fried pickels and mushrooms was brought to our table by another watier. The mushrooms were very good but the fried pickels were extremely salty and I really wished I didn't spend the $6 on them. Another 7ish mins our food was brought out. At this time I was out of my drink and needed a refill. The tea was still being made so I had to wait a few minutes ( completely understandable) but 10 minutes later still nothing and the tea was made. One of the people in my party went and got refills for ourselves. Again I get they were busy but it was bit to long. My burger and onion rings were good, the the BBQ sandwich wasn't very good at all. Overall I may give it another try on a different day just not the weekends.
