Isushi & Grill

For $80 the four of us ordered chicken yakitori (pretty good, very tender), tempura (pretty good, but not pretty), unagi-don, and the "Love Boat for 2," which has 10 pieces of nigiri sushi, 15 pieces of sashimi, a California roll, and a spicy tuna roll. The general consensus was that the sushi was pretty good, the sashimi was okay, the California roll was normal, and the spicy tuna roll was "actually spicy." Not overly expensive, but the food wasn't as good as other Japanese restaurants nearby. It was practically empty when we arrived around 6p on a Sunday evening, and filled up a bit by the time we left but definitely wasn't crowded. Parking is also easy, which is nice.

Inexpensive, and some of the best fish I've had in a while. With a 20% tip it was $22/person for tea, soda, salad, soup, tempura, 10pc chef choice nigiri, and two specialty rolls. The salmon and eel were especially melt-in-your-mouth, but the stand-out was the Hot Papa roll that was a perfect balance of spicy and rich. The service was excellent. They cleaned each dish off the table as soon as we'd finished it, though you do have to ask for refills on drinks :-)

This is a China Sushi place, not really that authentic Japanese. As a result, food is not that great. The rolls do not stay together while the arrangement of fish seems a little "innexperienced". The shasimi is OK but didn't invite us for a second order as planned! 3 stars for the people working there that are trying hard to make all customers welcomed. In an area that has great sushi and sashimi available, I Sushi & Grill has a long way to go before gets 5 stars.

I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience at ISushi yesterday. I am a hardcore vegetarian and when I placed my order I made it very clear to them too. In the vegetable Tempura that I ordered, I accidentally ate a SHRIMP tempura :( I had to ask my husband what it was when I sensed it was not any vegetable that I ate. My sincere advice for vegetarians would be please DO NOT go to this place which messes up this bad.
