The Deck Bar

Visiting Darwin for the first time we stumbled across this bar and went back twice more on our short stay. Great live music - particularly Wednesday evening - mostly acoustic solo / duo. With friendly staff and prompt service we loved it. Left my ( recently purchased ) hat one night and they’d put it behind bar and retrieved it next morning. Thanks guys !!

Nice spot on a Thursday night. Quite busy because was a trivia night for nt independent fundraiser. Good service, despite new staff. A couple of the groups patrons were stuck up lofty snobs whinging about staff serving long grassers, but that's OK, everyone else was fine. Nice spot outdoors on the 'deck'.

#britishwaitress rude. I simply asked why my chicken schnitzel did not come with the sauce. Bar staff started being rude stating that I he to pay for it - fair enough. But I asked, where does it say that on the menu? She could not explain where. Apart from that. Nice cool place, popular, and other waiters and bar staff are friendly, maybe just the odd one. Chicken was a little dry but still soft, fries were tasty, and salad was decorative. Great music, go for happy hour and enjoy the night, and just ignore the staff, don't let them ruin your dinning experience. And ask for the sauce at the start.

I was trying to have lunch today but... I was trying to get a table inside but I could because they don't have lower tables. I need a lower table because I'm a wheelchair user. The waitress told me I could get a lower table outside and she asked if I wanted something to drink. I mentioned I was going to eat something. I was waiting outside in the table 15 minutes and nobody approached to me to ask me If I want something. I was tired of waiting so I headed out to another place. On my way to the other place I saw the waitress on her phone texting. Great place but I'm not sure if I'll try to get something from there again.
