Very enjoyable food, had the lamb shank for dinner and eggs Benedict for breakfast. Both were delicious. Nothing to complain about and the staff are friendly and the place is clean.

The service was awkward to say the least, however they asked for our order in a timely manner and not 10 minutes later our food was served.
The quality of the steak was the best i have had in darwin hands down, also the presentation of the plate was also good.
I have and will continue to recommend this restaurant to my friends good work chef.

If you're looking for a quiet friendly atmosphere, this is a great spot.
Staff are well mannered and prompt service. I personally loved the window through to the kitchen, and watching all the beautifully plated dishes come out.

I had rack of lamb, the mash was barely warm but the taste of everything else made up for it. Hubby had lamb shank and said it was tasty and tender, for sweets the sticky date was good however could have had more icecream. Service was good.

Decor on entry is pretty drab and even worse when you have non stop line of inpex workers eating their free buffet. Asked for 3 types of beers that were out of stock and gave up so went for soft drink. Scotch fillet was terrible and fatty and cooked partially, considering the name you would think it would be better, especially for the price. Then the potato wasn't cooked (rare) and veggies were the steamed bag type and broccoli overcooked. Overall really disappointed and I rarely if ever am disappointed.

My partner and myself experience nothing but 5 star service and food every time we come here. The waiters always go an extra step to ensure everything is perfect, the open kitchen lets the chefs interact with you as well it is so awesome!!

My husband, Kerry, took me out to tea at The Meat House tonight. It's a fairly new restaurant in Darwin and we had an awesome meal! In my opinion, their Peri Peri prawn entree has the best sauce in the NT that I have tasted so far, and the dressing on the accompanying salad was also great. For mains we had the scotch fillet steak which was super tasty. Our thanks to the chefs! What topped the evening off for us was the attendant who served us. She was polite, professional, and friendly.
