Wow! What a wonderful place. I hadn't had that much satisfaction with my breakfast lately. Both of us enjoyed the food and coffee was great too.. definitely a must visit !

Love the mushroom burger with side of fries that too crunchy. Coffee was great too.
Just little congested inside sitting, get noisy if it fully packed like in weekends & wobbly table (might be just ours). Otherwise, good experience and great food.

Absolutely wonderful cafe! The food was amazing… we had a mushroom burger & chips & a vegetarian wrap . Both were delicious. My partner said the chips were the best he’s ever eaten! Also the best coffee!! The food was only outdone by the service . We had the most wonderful young waiter .. he was switched on .. attentive, professional.. so polite & quick ! He memorised our order & got it 100% correct! He was amazing ! Probably the best service we have ever had at a cafe any where in Australia! Cannot fault the Saltwater it made our holiday to Darwin even better ! 5 stars !

I have enjoyed meals from the small plates menu for both lunch & dinner during my time here in Darwin. The view of the sunset from the outdoor tables is incredible. Saltwater is a great place to chill out with your loved ones and share some tasty food and drinks.

A great find just a little out-of-the-way tucked by the water next to the museum. Brilliant verandah dining section at this time of year. Diverse menu, reasonably priced. View over water. Great quality service and unusually good engagement by the staff. We will be back.

Male tall waiter around 50ish didn’t even smile. Communication minimal - no pleasantries. Long long wait for food, arrived at different times. $26 med salad very small…. Not worth money. Waitress at checkout apologised for delay and gave 10% off bill.
