Darwin Thai Cafe

The food is general very good, but the takeaway quantity is more than a little disappointing. This dish was around $20 and we received less than a container's worth of it. Will maybe avoid ordering from here next time. *I decided to give this a lower score as we received very small quantities for all of our dishes.

Been a favorite place to go when it comes to Thai food, but I don't think for any longer. Last three times I ordered takeaway, they are not even looking extras I'd requested. I don't think a quartered of lime and fresh chili will make your business drop for $31 Tom Yam noodles (including fee). I'm very disappointed, the whole meal 80% of noodles.

I was a little worried after ready the reviews but it was delicious & super fast service (Wed night 7pm). Took about 5/10’ for take away. I ordered chicken satay skewers and chicken larb Gai and both were full of flavour and chicken succulent. The satay was one of the best I tried. Yes it is expensive for Thai food, but it was good! I’d return.

We waited for over an hour after ordering our food whilst take away orders were flying out the door in a restaurant which felt like a cool room. Staff wouldn’t turn down the air conditioning so half the diners had to move outside. Food was diabolical! (Off cuts of vegetables, over cooked meat resembling leather and the saltiest soup I’ve ever tasted. It didn’t resemble Thai food in the slightest. The icing on the cake was when we got 5 minutes into eating our food and staff came to our table to ask for us to pay as they wanted to close the till. Their saving grace was the agreed to deduct the cost of one of the meals. We did not feel like valued customers and would avoid this place like the plague.

We ordered take away food. When we reached to pick up the food at the expected time of pick up, we were made to wait another 40 min.Then , while we were coming back home, received a call that they forgot to put one dish in our packet from our order We went back, got the last dish, reached home after almost an hour of wait and the dishes were not even half full 😱.Very very disappointed as we spent approx $120 and this is the kind of service we received. We even left a message at the restaurant but no one got back to us. The food taste good but not worth the wait and money ,especially with this arrogant attitude.
