Jimmy John's

This must be the worst Jimmy John's in existence. The only reason I gave them two stars is because I like Jimmy John's in general. I ordered it for lunch today because I had a free sandwich for my birthday. When I went to redeem the free sandwich it would not show up/apply online to my order. So, I paid for the sandwich and ordered it anyway because I did not bring my lunch and no longer had time to leave. I have to say that today was a better experience than most days. I ordered the smaller sized sandwich, and it was actually a decent size. They did not put the correct items on the sandwich, and forgot the packets of mayonnaise and mustard which I had requested. This particular location consistently messes up orders and forgets side items and drinks. Unfortunately it happens to be the closest one that will deliver to my job. Otherwise I would never eat here again.

Only half of the staff were covering their faces correctly. One was not wearing a mask at all (was stretched down below his chin) and the woman who made my sandwich did not have her nose covered. This location is less than a mile from where I live but I won’t be eating here anymore. Face coverings are the bare minimum when it comes to Covid precautions and if they can’t do that right so blatantly, it makes me wary about what other shortcuts are being made.

Would give 0 stars if possible. The manager was extremely rude to employees. Could hear him yelling from outside. Then he tried to pick a fight by continually asking if there was a problem to me. For sure you can do better Jimmy johns by hiring better management. Also he wasn't following the guidelines with his mask around his neck while in the restaurant dinning area and kitchen.

Downtown Decatur is not parking friendly for lunch. There is a lot right between where the Jimmy John's is located and I think a high rise or condo building. Lots of sinage telling you park at your own risk, etc. I decided to park in a spot that offered 15 mins max if you were going to 315 address. And yes the lot had lots of parking spots empty. Seeing that I was not out looking up addresses, just trying to get a quick inexpensive bite to eat. I parked!! Now to the sandwich, I went in and there were posters all over advertising the $3 little john and asked to try the $3 little john, I was told that they did not have the bread to make the $3 sandwich, I ended up paying $7 for the sandwich&chips. Yes it was fast. I was in and out in less than 5 mims. Came out to a boot on my car that cost me $75 to get off. PSA Please be careful when parking in Atlanta and all cities surrounding Atlanta. People make a living off of this ruthless behavior. I did not see sinage offering me any parking for Jimmy John specifically. And the sandwich was lack luster. Very limited fixings. Definitely not worth $85. Will stick with Publix.
