Golden Corral

We asked for Togo cups and silver ware we was first told that we had to pay for them because it was a shortage and they was for Togo customers only!!! Then I went to the manager and told him I don’t have a problem paying for what I want he then preceded to tell me that they were out and didn’t have any At all in the store but in the picture you can see an employee eating with Togo ware!!! And to top it off the server kept bringing out dirty plates and they wonder why we wanted Togo stuff never again!!!

I never expect anything exceptional out of Golden Corral Breakfast Buffet because the fact of the matter is that the breakfast buffet isn’t a big money maker for Investment Management Corp. To get the real experience and for companies to actually make gains, a brunch buffet with lobster, seafood, and a waffle/omelette chef, that charges over 35 dollars per plate, is what has to be done. With all that taken into account it is simply too much of a hassle to track down one of those places, let alone shell out 35$-50$ per plate, on a Saturday or Sunday. I resort to Golden Corral, which in the past has provided me with the minimum experience at about 9$ a plate;that is until TODAY. First time to Golden Corral in Clarkston in Atlanta GA, I broke away from my usual spot in Conyers, and it was below average. They charged 2$ more a plate than their sister location in Conyers. I shuffled through 4 plates and only one was clean, the trays even had gunk on them. The food was very poorly prepped, I sat for an hour and several of the food trays were never filled, the staff seems unhappy, the list goes on from cleanliness in the bathroom to the server using an empty table on the floor as busing/staging area it looking very messy. Here for over an hour and several of the food pans are not filled, I started at about 9:45am. That is clearly plenty of time before their switch to dinner to have these trays filled. If you’re interested in trying a better location simply travel 15 to 20 minutes further out to their Conyers location. No reason to go to Clarkston for a bad breakfast buffet experience.

I was waiting in line for fried chicken, specifically some wings, and I was having a hard time getting someone’s attention. I finally got a waitress to get a manager. The manager was very nice and her name was Lulu. She said “…when some wings come up I’ll bring them to to you.” and I never expected her to actually bring me the wings so after waiting for a while I went back to the line to see off they were ready, only to see Lulu on her way to me with a small tray of wings just for me. I never would have expected such amazing service in a Golden Corral… thanks a million Lulu. My day was really rough and something this simple really made a difference to me…. Thank you thank you thank you 🙏 🙏🙏
