Synge & Byrne Foyleside

Lovely cafe. Lovely staff and the food is great. I misrepresented this cafe in my original review. I mis-priced our lunch. However, the owner was very quick to respond and indeed sort it all out . Which was not an easy task given that almost a week had passed. This, to me, shows an individual who cares for his customers and who, even though I made the mistake, didn't criticise or use any negativity what so ever. I sincerely apologise for my mistake and will make sure I have my facts correct in the future.

The coffee was delicious, service was just ok. Fellow wasn't overly friendly and very slow. The chair's were terrible (uncomfortable and kept slipping forward)and tables all needed cleared and cleaned. Won't be back 👎 Edit I did go back one day a few weeks back, the lady serving me was lovely. It was a very warm day and she could see I was struggling with the heat, she gave me an ice cold water along with my coffee. Coffee was again delicious. Was quieter this time, tables all cleared. I feel I need to up the stars and I would go back for sure 😊

Visited here several times in the past. Always get a flat white and carrot cake (creature of habit). Never had a bad coffee here. I would easily say this is one of the best places to get coffee in the city. Really nice atmosphere. Carrot cake is always very tasty. The whole cafe has a trendy/hipster vibe which I like. Nice seating area to relax and watch the crowds of people entering the shopping centre. Haven't tried the food before but there seems to be a great choice available. Would recommend here if your looking for a very good coffee
