Eclectic. Classic American Mexican food is a very unique setting. Food was what you'd expect, came out insanely fast, service was great. Hard to complain.

This is a great place to just look at all the amazing art and Day of the Dead trinkets but then, on top of that you get a really great meal too? This place has it all. We've been searching for a good Mexican restaurant and ended up finding a great one. Owner/manager was very warm and friendly. He came over to the table to chit chat and told us about they got some of the sculptures and art and it was really cool to hear. I had the combo meal (tostada, taco, burrito, enchilada, etc) and everything was covered in cheese and sauce and delicious! My wife had the chimichanga, beans and rice and said it was very good. Cocktails were strong and the portions huge. Chips and salsa were on point and the whole experience was fantastic. Can't recommend this place highly enough. We will be back (if only for the Street Fighter II arcade cabinet in the entrance). Lol

We walked in just before 8pm on a Saturday night, after seeing they close at 9, only for the hostess to rush toward us to tell us that they were closed. The doors weren't locked, we walked right in. We stood there bewildered as the restaurant was FULL of people, the lights outside were on, etc. At first we really thought she was joking, then she oddly repeated, "he turned the sign off outside" a couple of times before we realized she was serious (no idea who "he" is). There was just a really strange, almost rude vibe coming from her. It almost seemed like she knew she was being dishonest with us and just didn't want to have to serve another table a whole hour before closing. We left, and checked outside for the sign outside she mentioned but honestly had no idea what she was referring to, and the sign to the restaurant was clearly on. It was so strange and we felt so unwelcome we'll never come back. And this would have been our first visit. ETA we drove a few blocks away to La Cina where we were warmly greeted, seated promptly, and served delicious food with a smile. Every single employee there was a delight and we felt so welcome. Forget Sierra Station, do yourself a favor and go somewhere where they care about your business, go to La Cina! Update: We decided to give this place a second chance because the kids wanted to go. The server was professional and friendly, but the owner recognized us from our last visit and apparently has read my negative review because he behaved extremely passive aggressive toward me which was honestly so sad we had a good laugh about it. He made two really rude remarks to me disguised as "jokes" which were just really bizzare. What kind of professional business owner does that instead of trying to make things right? One of the kids actually picked up on his vibe and said, "I don't like that guy, he's weird" and I explained to her what was going on and we had a good chuckle. Yes, he acted like such a creep he made a child uncomfortable. His behavior was really unprofessional and immature and just...WEIRD. Our second visit could have been a great opportunity to change my mind about this place to which I would have updated my review, but instead this grown man decided to act like a creepy, petty child. To top it all off, the food was mediocre AT BEST (margarita was downright horrible with an overwhelming cheap mixer taste). Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. My experience here twice has just been downright WEIRD.
