Great place to wash and dry your clothes affordably, while you surf on the internet for free and have tea or coffee. Great staff, I really recommend it!
You can get a ton of clothes washed and dried super quickly due to their huge machines.

I love going to The Commons their sandwiches taste good and you can wash and dry your clothes their. Edith and her staff have great customer service. Edith also have neighborhood meetings upstairs on the second floor. When you look out of the window and see the beautiful clouds it was amazing.

It's a really great community hub and a world of convenience all in one location. I've only ever visited in the post-Covid-19 environment so no waiting for laundry is allowed inside - only for food/drink orders. But the vibe is still awesome. Great music playlists. Candice and Imani made my experience wonderful the first time and I've been back 4 times since☺.

Great meeting space and coffee at The Commons. Had the opportunity to meet the city of Detroit Assessor, who was working with community leaders to help Detroit residents to save their homes.
You can also do your laundry at The Commons, get a bite to eat, chat with the locals or find a corner and work!! The ultimate neighborhood spot!

Clean and friendly environment that I felt not only welcome in but safe in (sanitary-wise). Washers and dryers are all super clean and the space is very cozy while you wait. Staff is amazingly kind as well. This’ll be my new laundry spot for sure! :)

It’s been a while since I’ve been here and it continues to be an awesome spot to work and have a tasty warm beverage. I tried the breakfast sandwich for the first time today and it is SO good (like seriously can I get the recipe?). Will be back again soon!
