I've lived in Detroit my whole life only 26 years But I never went here until recentlyAndI'm in love with it nice quiet cozy. Perfect for any outing whether it be a nice dinner or a quick lunch, and the food is soon delicious I called the owner just to let him know.

Comfy neighborhood bar. Kitchen was closed when we were there so I'll have to go back some other time and try one of their burgers. Steve served up a couple of nice cold ones. Lions crowd had already left so it was nice and quiet when we were there. Definitely dig the old school charm and the big vinyl booths.

Still trying to figure this place out. Empty upon arrival at 7pm on a Thursday and empty when we left. Looks like a time capsule from the 70s. Not sure how they keep the doors open I got the wing special and it was fine. Expiration date on the beer was passed. Not worried just points to how often drinks and food turn. So conveniently located this place has potential.

Gaslight is a Motown original. Never know who may stroll through the door here. As with most downtown spots its within walking distance of the train. This is a serious up and coming part of the D.
Food is good but a little on the high side. I was informed by a server that will be changing soon, we'll see.
Call ahead to see who's in town or just drop in for a drink.

No beer on tap. About 5 things on the menu. $5 dollar charge to use the restroom and no lights work inside of it. No idea how this place stays in business. Bartender was nice but didn’t seem to be all there. Was given a bag of chips that I found out expired four years ago after having the first bite. At least the grub was quick and we were the only ones in there

When me and my family walked in, it was empty. Even during the lunch rush. So we thought service was good. But unfortunately I guess one person worked there and it was the owner he did all of the cooking and serving, so it was an average wait time.

Floating in the glass! Acted like it was a bother when I pointed it out! No wonder why we were the only ones in there! Won’t be back!
