Coaxum's Seafood Spot

Checked it out on a Saturday afternoon. Empty at 1:30pm. Nice setup for dining. Mirrored walls, cushioned seats, sound system and stage to watch live entertainment. Big screen tv's are also featured. As of this date. This restaurant is closed. The building is empty and the name is removed from the marquee.

The place is nicely set up, but the service and food was not good. The plate sizes look like kids meals, the seafood was over cooked. My plate was $20 and ALL I got was five awful shrimp. After complaining, the manager sent a new order out which was better. The drinks was watered down as well. The waitress was very unprofessional. I can already see this place won't last long. The only thing I really enjoyed was the band. They did a good job. But I wouldn't recommend this spot to anyone. Last but not least, my reservations was for 9. My party of 20 was not seated until 39 min later, our food was not SERVED until after 11pm, food orders jacked all up, some of my guest didn't even get their order...NEVER AGAIN!!!

Went here with a group of co workers. As soon as we stepped in the amazing band caught my attention. Great live music, very energetic. This was the only enjoyable aspect of the restaurant. After we were seated we were greeted by a young man saying "yo my name is (whatever his name was) my partner gonna be here in a minute," i knew what kind of night it was going to be. The service was slow. Me and the person next to be ordered the exact same thing, our plates came and looked like 2 different types of fish, which it was. I ordered catfish, I know what catfish looks and taste like, that wasn't it. had to keep asking for condiments, they didn't even have mustard, seasoning was lack and food is over priced. I'd come back just to drink and hear the band. DO NOT want to hear servers cussing up a storm next time.

Great food and atmosphere for a restaurant. Food was delicious and enjoyable. Of course on the table the servers/ waiter/ waitress lays out new paper across your table for when your food arrives, you can eat messy. The boiled food is served in clear plastic bags and you prep the food as you eat it. Fresh, delicious food. Restaurant is brand new and just opened. Nice part is at times, live music is performed as you dine, but for us (my family and I) we had the place to ourselves: just us, the staff and one other family. I recommend dining here. Enjoy!
