My daughters and I had a wonderful time. Our chef Tony's food was awesome and his conversation was priceless. Thanks for making our visit memorable.

Tried Kani House for the first time today. I am so glad hibachi/sushi places now offer options that have little to no rice. While I love a good sushi roll, having no rice options makes managing this diet that I'm on MUCH easier. Anywho, I went for the Spicy Tuna Tartare and Ikura Sashimi. The tuna wasn't overly spicy by any means. It had a smooth elevated palate that paired well with the avocado and the Ikura. I'd definitely order it again. 👍

This is one of the best hibachi and sushi that we found and we are please with the quality and serving size. We are also please with Troy customer service, he is awesome. Highly recommended this place. Its a bit pricey but we think its worth it. We coming again to try another dish next time.

Amazing experience and food at this place. First of all plan your visit ahead of time because have to make a reservation and you can't make a same day reservation online, but u can call the restaurant to check on availability. Very glad I did. Best hibachi food I have ever had. This was my first time experiencing the hibachi exhibit. The chef was amazing and very engaging with the crowd. My husband went live on facebook and got so many comments about where we were. Also, their drink menu us pretty good as well, I had the 🍓 rita, and my husband had the fuji cran 🍎 both were amazing and not watered down like most cocktails. Plan a trip there u won't be disappointed.

This place has a very unique combination of vegetarian sushi. Never come across such an amazing sushi place with so many options to choose from. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

So a group of 6 (myself and some colleagues) decided to come in for hibachi to celebrate a birthday at lunchtime. Upon entering, several of us noticed an unpleasant smell like it wasn't very clean, but nothing overwhelming. We were told that hibachi was closed because they didn't have a chef available and instead all 6 of us were crammed into a booth (not the best under current health crisis).
We would honestly have gone elsewhere at this point but we didn't have time to switch venues so we decided to go with it.
All of us had the obligatory miso soup (basically chicken broth with a couple of scallions floating in it) and salad (handful of iceberg from a bag with ginger dressing). I do like the ginger dressing... doubt it was not straight out of a plastic bottle though.
I can only recommend that if you come in for lunch, avoid the sushi. Everyone else enjoyed their food to varying degrees - from what I can tell, the bento boxes and hibachi fried rice were well received.
Imma talk about this sushi though. It was the spicy roll platter, supposed to be a spicy California roll, spicy tuna roll and spicy salmon roll. The "spicy" part was literally just drops of Sriracha on top of each piece. I don't know if the regular sushi chef had the day off and they had the dishwasher rolling this stuff or what but it was a hot mess. Rice falling apart, gloopy "tuna" mush oozing out of the middle, pieces of room temperature salmon hanging out in flaps and a chunk of imitation crab stick sticking out the end with a glob of Sriracha on it looking like they ripped a leg off a crab while it was still alive and stuck it in a raggedy wad of rice and seaweed.
I have pictures. Legit terrible like nobody even tried to make it look like they cared.
Service was okay. No real complaints there.
I'm still a little salty about the sushi though.

Had Hibachi dinner for 8 at Johns Creek Kani House on 5/28/22. Polite servers and chef. The chef was also very entertaining & friendly. However, the chicken was overcooked and my medium rare Angus steak turned out well done. Since this Kani House is short staffed (for awhile now), we were warned not to be more than 5 minutes late. We got there well ahead of time. They should have showed equal consideration to us in properly cooking the Hibachi food!
