Bob's Home Cooking

Despite the 3-star rating, I've actually eaten here quite often. It's a very convenient place to eat. The food is fine; it's neither bad nor outstanding, but it's good enough. The waitresses are almost terrible in the customer service department, and the seats are hard and extremely uncomfortable, and the other clientele are usually loud and obnoxious...but when I come here I never really expect a superb experience. It's just Bob's Country Home Cookin' Buffet: A convenient place to grab a bite of southern food quickly.

Love Bob's Home Cooking. For the price, you can't beat it. Great food, great place to get meats and veggies, under $10.00. For $9.99 you can get rib eye steaks on Wednesday and Saturday at dinner. Family oriented. Staff and owner caring folks. I am just a local resident, and I am not affiliated with Bob's Home cooking. Just thought they deserved a great review for the nice way they have always treated me.

Every third Saturday my buddies and I have lunch at Bob's Home Cooking Buffet and have been doing so for about a year now. They have a decent selection which is well-cooked, the price is very reasonable and the service is friendly. IMHO, Bob's has the best fried chicken around. Give Bob's a try. Maybe we will see you at lunch!

It's been a month since I've been able to eat solid food, and the one time I go for real home cooking was extremely disappointing! Dressing was dry turkey taste like meat was bad, and cornbread was super dry. I took 2 bites and to the trash it went. Sorry, but I didn't have a great 1st experience here and I'm not usually picky, but I will never eat here again.

I am quite surprised with the owner putting a lot of efforts to keep the food as home cooking as possible. The first thing is they actually keep the msg usage to the minimum, I am less thirsty and painful after eating. Second thing is they got everything they should offer and price is surprisingly cheap. Armosphere is good and the waiter works there is superb. I go there every saturday, quite addicted to the food.

Good cheap buffet eats under 10.00. Comfort food collardgreens, biscuts(light fluffy buttermilk yum) and brown gravy( needs some work too much cornstarch) excellent lemon peper chix wings and fried chix and chix livers old school southern fare not for the dieter types not fancy but some tasty dishes none the less not fond of the mashed potatoes :( i think they are instant "why Dome'why "🎥👿 exorcise them when real potatos are so inexpensive if its the peeling kp just leave the skins on extra yummy with milk cream and butter cant go wrong avoid the taco bar-- good idea but bad in a buffet form. Caters to many businessmen, locals and construction tradespeople in need of a qwick bite same price as burger meal at any fast food place. Recent upgrade to the dinner menu added Korean Bbq lettuce wrap verry good, decent salad bar with some nice suprises seeds and nuts kale dried berries as well as a pretty good potato salad and pickled beets i always enjoy the fried chicken livers on Tuesday

This place was absolutely the worst place I have ever eaten. I won't go into detail but you have been warned. I left and went somewhere else to eat because I could not stomach the food and was still hungry. I wish I could give negative stars. Several people walked in, looked at the buffet and were smart enough to make an excuse and leave.
