Caribou Coffee

Love this place! Super wide variety of drinks. Great breakfast options too! I have never had a bad experience here. Drive through line can be long in the mornings (what are you expecting though? It IS a coffee shop!) so I prefer going inside to order. There drinks taste suuper good. Great prices too! Super sweet workers. I would recommend coming here!

Location location location. There’s a lake view in the Summer and Fall, but mostly can be seen from the patio. Direct access from the apartments. The bagels and especially the smoked salmon bagel with tomato and cream cheese is a filling bite to eat. Quality-wise it’s just a quick bite. The donut selection is decent, but is definitely just a donut with your coffee. The baristas range from ahhh-mazing to you really shouldn’t be in this type of role… The Caribou membership app has many perks including free drinks and upgrades. Just don’t get blocked by the drive-thru line, or locked outside on the patio…Unlike a Starbucks, this location will not make classic drinks (like Arnold Palmers) unless it’s a menu option. It can be very very busy and loud, especially during the UMD school year - tons of undergrads!!
