Just passed through Dumas and stopped here for dinner. Clean building, extremely friendly staff, amazing decorations and the food was simply amazing. If I lived in Dumas, i would eat here every day. Will definitely be back. Spent 20 dollars between 2 people

The Big Country Cafe is awesome! The servers are great and the food came out in about 5 minutes, no exaggeration, and it was phenomenal. That picture is all that was left of The Horshoe Sandwich, sorry. I heard their pie is something serious too, maybe next time.

You won't be disappointed. Staff was awesome and food was delicious. I ordered the Beef Asada Tacos. Definitely will return next time I'm in town.

I enjoyed my dinner at Big County Cafe during a recent stay in Dumas. The service was attentive and friendly and my meal was good. The salad tasted fresh and the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes was very tasty. It is located in a cool older building with a great restaurant sign out front and old school vibe complete with wood paneled walls on the inside. The place seemed to be popular with locals and that is usually a good sign. I'd dine here again.

We called ahead with a party of 14 and as we walked in the door they were waiting on us. We had great food, great service and their homemade cinnamon rolls are absolutely delicious.

We were just passing through town on our way to Colorado when we got hungry in Dumas. Where else to go but a good home cooked southern meal and that’s exactly what we got. Don’t be fooled by the decor. The food is fantastic. If you’re looking for a hearty warm country meal, I had the chicken fried steak, than Big Country Cafe is your place.

Ate here after a long flight. The service was great and the food was really good. If you order the Guacamole it is a huge portion in a big bowl and comes with a big basket of great tasting chips and yummy salsa.
The biscuit and gravy I got with my omelette was good but it is a Texas gravy and not Southern Gravy. Good but not like mama used to make.

Fast, clean and friendly. Good food and a lot of locals. It is a Cafe I would visit anytime I'm going through town. The wait staff is using a system that sends the order direct to the kitchen as you order. My first and last words in this review. FAST.
