The Good Dog Restaurant

So glad we found this place as we were in the Duncan area looking for a hot dog. The owner was amazingly friendly and the food was incredible! Everything was homemade from the chili to the desserts, which we had lemon pound cake. Everything was delicious, we think they are the best hot dogs in the area! If you are looking for the best, try them out and you won't be disappointed.

By far this is the best hotdog experience we have had since we have been in the Upstate. I have been in Upstate since 1991, and this is easily the best dog I have eaten. As a matter of fact, I have brought five personal friends to the Good Dog, and they are all consistent customers now. Not only did they enjoy the hotdog with the works on it, but because they were first time customers, they got a special treat. They felt like royalty when they got done eating. The owner, Miss Darlene has a jewel right here, and the rest of the upstate needs to know. Outstanding meal and service !!!!!

This place is in simple words.. a hidden gem. The food was outstanding. The service was even better. What was planned as a quick bite on the way home turned into something different. The passion that fuels this place was flat out something special. I will will be back over and over again. Oh and save room for desert. You do not want to skip desert ... Outstanding!

I was looking for something different for lunch, and I found this place. I'm glad I did! What a treat! I went in, and had my first ever gourmet hotdog experience. The hotdogs are made fresh to order and you're given a choice of 16 + toppings. The hot dogs were delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the service was excellent! I know where I'll be going in the future when I'm in the mood for a delicious GOURMET hotdog!
