Alderlea Farm And Cafe

I just love this place. It’s a rare trip to Vancouver Island that I don’t visit. The food is all farm-to-table fresh, and made with love. Tip: Always save room for dessert. The owners and staff are welcoming and lovely. The view of the valley stretching off into the distance, speckled with cows, is nourishment for the soul.

A perfect combination of amazing food, outstanding views over the valley and gardens, and laid backed comfort. Limited weekend hours make this a popular off the beaten track find. Homemade pizza, and a varying menu that can accommodate some food limits such as gluten free. Alderlea was out of Kombucca and had no milk alternatives for someone with a milk alternative. Menu is available online. Prices quite reasonable.

I don't know how anyone could give this anything but 5 stars. It's a true and authentic farm to table venue. Excellent food, wood fire pizzas are amazing 😍 I have dietary constraints and always feel embarrassed or skeptical that my order will be botched in busy kitchens. Never with Alderlea! Not only does it come out awesome, I never have an upset tummy :) When friends and family come into town and ask where to eat, if they want something local, authentic, organic, or just an amazing atmosphere - hands down Alderlea!

Wonderful lunch at the truly, farm to table Alderlea Farm Cafe. Everything is grown and made on the premises - freshest of fresh. True zero mile diet! Friendly and efficient service, lots of care and thought in keeping everyone safe and healthy. We pre-ordered and it worked beautifully. Highly recommended. We were too full for dessert, I want to go back for the chocolate cake!
