Ordered takeaway Christmas dinner. The seafood chowder is the best ever. I had 3 mains to choose from, all yummy. And again 3 desserts, choco cheese cake perfect. Mini Pavlova and a mince tart. Enough for meals for 2 days. Very impressed. Late Nov/2022 Today they've told us, they are closing until February 2023. Can't get staff apparently.... 26/12/22 Now it says they're open Tuesday after boxing day. Will ring tomorrow. Totally unreliable information.

Equinox hosted 45+ multi-generational members of our family for my mother's 90th birthday. Setting up the event was super easy, and they were really helpful. The menu had a great range to cover all tastes and catered really well for kids and those with other dietary requirements. The food was great! The chips were "tp die for" and I could have easily gobbled down another roast of the day - it was that good! Everyone was satisfied completely and the waiters were super efficient getting everyone's orders and meals out. Thoroughly recommend and will be returning to work my way through the menu each time I visit Dunedin. And so much parking!!

Lovely relaxed environment for lunch, meals are generous and tasty and there’s something for everyone . Staff are friendly and was very clean and tidy. They offer a $15 roast and dessert special and also have a children’s play area which is fenced so would be perfect if your dining with young children.

Husband had the chicken burger and couldn't finish it. Chicken was moist and very enjoyable. It was big. I had the Thai beef salad. The meat was tender and if it had been sold as a warm beef salad it would be fine. But there was nothing to make it Thai. No coriander or chillies. But we will go back. Saw several other meals going out and they all looked good.
