Sj's Thai Cafe

Hidden in an out of the way spot in a small strip mall on Main Street, you may be tempted to pass this restaurant by, but don't! It's a great little spot for eat in or take out. We dined in and had the veggie stir fry, coconut curry and Thai fried rice. Ingredients and flavors were fresh and tasty. Additional spice can be added with the chili sauce or powder available. As a bonus, there is an abundant selection of imported groceries, spices, teas, rice, sweets, etc., so plan for some extra time to wander the aisles.

Wow what a fantastic little international shop. They had many great products. Not everything I bought is in the photo. Good prices on many things like jackfruit and oyster mushrooms. They had homemade ice cream that is DELICIOUS. And the one I got is vegan. They also have food for take out that looks amazing. I will have to try sometime. Besides Thai and other items from Asia, they also have a Mediterranean/middle Eastern section. The woman working was very nice. Very organized, clean and fairly prices market. I highly recommend checking it out.

I have visited this store several times in the past week to get some ingredients for an Indian dish. They were so helpful with finding all my ingredients and the staff was extremely friendly. My girlfriend and I also decided to get dinner here on Friday night. It was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be going back but would also recommend this place to everyone. The Thai Fried Rice was amazing. The Red Curry was delicious. We also got the Pot Stickers, which were great. I am so sad that I have not tried this place before, and will be coming back often in the future.

This was my husband's and my first time shopping here and while we were searching for specific ingredients to use in cooking we noticed that they also cook food to go and have places to sit and eat. We ordered the Pot Stickers and Pad Thai, which I have to say, the food, service and items to purchase as well as the pricing were incredible! We will definitely be returning for both the store and the fantastic food. Thank you for providing many options not available in typical grocery stores as well as the kind and generous service!

Just stopped here for the first time since this store has seemingly changed ownership....and it was fantastic!! It is small and very well stocked with a plethora of different Asian products...booth refrigerated, canned or in small packets. It is very clean, well laid out and easy to navigate. Nisa (possibly an owner?) was there to assist me with questions and she was very courteous, professional and gracious....and more importantly, steered me to everything I asked about. Prices were shockingly low. Other stores would consider much of this food "exotic' and charge accordingly. I did not eat any of the fresh food Nisa was preparing....but it all looked, and smelled, great! All in all, I would highly recommend this store to someone looking for hard to find Asian products and spices.....this, for me, was a really great find!

Got takeout from SJ's for the first time over the weekend and I CAN NOT believe that I had never been here before now. The food was seriously incredible. My boyfriend is always on the lookout for spicy food that's actually good, and he loved the Pad Thai combo with chicken. I had the Panang curry with tofu and it was the perfect amount of spicy for me, and the flavor was great. It's up there with the best Thai food that either of us have ever had. We will definitely be ordering from here more regularly.
