Best to go during the week in the daytime. Gets very busy at the weekends and evenings. Very nice selection of real ale. I had chicken wings which were nice for the price.

This is a nice weather spoons pub. Friendly staff and drink at great prices. Did not have anything to eat.

Enjoyed a few drinks before meeting friends for lunch. Then we all came back after we had our lunch. We were able to talk and enjoy our time.

It was a lovely place to stop and get some food. The food was good, the service was okay. Clean, reasonably priced, amazing for breakfast. If in Edinburgh, I will definitely return

Popped in here a few times, mainly because the beer is cheaper than anywhere else in the city center. It's big and interpersonal so go with a friend. I've recently tried the food, I was actually very impressed, but its a strange system where soft or hard drinks are included in the price, It's good value so no complaints there. Yes! I'd say it is recommended but mainly because everywhere else in the city is an extortionate price!
