Continental Treat Fine Bistro Gluten Free

Absolutely delicious food and great service! The staff went above and beyond with being super accommodating even though we were late to our reservation. The food was amazing. Everyone seems to rave about the dill pickle soup and I'm glad I ordered it. Also had the escargots and I was skeptical about it but it was also excellent! The schnitzel and the perogies were made perfectly. Overall, it was a delightful experience that I'd recommend to anyone looking for a fancy night out.

So far I've been here two nights since my visit to Edmonton and I'm impressed each night. Gluten free or not this is the best prepared food I've had in a very long time. This food is made by people who love what they do. The service is Excellent and the atmosphere perfect. So far I've had the Pork Sniztle and Fungi and Spaetzle both superb. Oh, and by the way..the Tiramisu is amazing.. and it's gluten free.

They opened a new downtown location in December and it has the same amazing experience as the whyte ave location. It was the previously known as the hardware grill and it has the similar rustic- character of that legendary location with the added extraordinary food, service and hospitality. I'm happy this local restaurant is expanding their business. It is a worth a visit downtown to check out the awesome decor and stay there too.

MUST TRY. I haven’t tasted something as refined and sophisticated as this, in a very long time. The escargots à la Bourguignone is to die for. To say we were surprised, pleased or impressed, would be understatements. I highly recommend it. Also, you MUST try the pork Pierogi, ask for the honey-mustard sauce (it’s not on the menu)!

My fiancée has a fully gluten-free diet, and there is no option in the whole city that has as wide of a high quality selection as Continental Treat. For anybody in my shoes as a full-gluten eater who is with a no-gluten eater, I can guarantee you that this is one of the best places you will go out to eat with your eating-partner. The pierogi (pyrogy? pyrohy? pirogi?) options are incredible for celiacs with Slavic roots who have always felt left out of family dinners. 🥟 The dill pickle soup enters my brain every few months and I just HAVE to make an order. 🥒 I look forward to ordering one of their imported Belgian Abbey Beers every time I go. I love the Tripels and Quadrupels. 🇧🇪🍺 This is our place we go every time we want to celebrate something. Thanks for existing, Continental Treat.
