This popular gem in Edmonton won my heart after a visit, that’s for sure! Friendly service. Great food. Busy! Arrived 20 mins after opening and almost every table was filled!
Will have to return for dinner!!

Had a wonderful late evening meal with friends at the Sugar bowl tonight. The whole table enjoyed the meal, atmosphere and the awesome service. We loved the popcorn, chicken and waffles and the banana cream pie for dessert was super delish!!!

Very friendly staff, good service and good food and drink. We took advantage of the beautiful evening and took a walk along the High Level Bridge afterwards. If you're looking for date night ideas, this is a good one!

The place was bustling with people, however we were seated in the patio in a jiffy. The menu is casual and simple, matching the uber-cool vibe of the establishment. The service was good but the highlight was the food. The food was AMAZING!
We ordered Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with Yam Fries and Summer Fresh Salad. Delicious was an understandment. The burger was loaded with two juicy chicken pieces, which were grilled to perfection. The salad had ample of blueberries and raspberries, giving it a sweet and tangy flavor. The only downside is finding a parking spot for the car near the restaurant.

This is actually more of a 3.5. Sugarbowl has an awesome atmosphere, nice staff, very cute inside, and the drinks are great, however, the food was average. It's was also incredibly busy during brunch so there was a long wait and the hostess wasn't able to provide an accurate time.

Went there when I first moved here in 2013. It was a bit of a dissapointment. Tried it today april 2022 amd it was very good. We both had the chicken and waffles. It was good. Started with the pomme frite, delicious and they have my favorite beer Duchess de Bourgogne.
I will be bk to try a few more things on their menu.

The place is nice and food tasty. We even found parking at the rear. It was me and my 5 yo boy and we enjoyed our evening in a cozy atmosphere. Staff super. 4 stars out of 5 because I asked a birger to have no spicy things in it and the mayo used was unfortunately too spicy for my son.

I get why this is a local favourite. Great food, good prices and great service. I need to go back for a cinnamon bun though.
