Dang Good

Been eating here for years, thought I would finally put a review in. This place is great! Food is good, ingredients are fresh, but most importantly, the staff is super friendly and attentive. Aside from the name itself lending to describing this place to a tee, the owners are very genuine and truly care about the food. Even though it’s been a year since we last ate here, they still remembered my family. Will always come back when I visit Edmonton.

I eat here atleast 2 times a month because the quality and serving sizes never fail to impress me every single time. Yes, this place gets slammed and you may have to wait for a while but it's worth it for the food and customer service. There is a reason this restaurant gets packed and maybe with more prolonged support they will eventually be able to move to a larger location and can afford extra staff while still maintaining their impeccable standards.

I have been coming to this place for soup for a long time and I love it. They have the best wonton soup in town! Today I tried something new and had the Pho Seafood Soup that was excellent! The service is great. I have never had to wait and they usually know my order before I sit down. Highly recommend trying Dang Good!

Edmonton has a vast selection of amazing vegan and vegetarian restaurants, and while I’m new to both the diet and the city I can confidently state that Dang Good is the best I’ve ever eaten at. Hands down the best dining experience I’ve had since becoming vegetarian, their vegan menu is sizeable and has the same variety of options as any Vietnamese menu, just plant based. And the prices are great, probably the cheapest vegan meal available in Edmonton (I love all those little plant-based cafes you guys have up here but my wallet does not) and it tastes like heaven. I Definitely Recommend, and I will be returning the next time I’m in Edmonton during lunch.
