Cafe Linnea

We went there on a Saturday, it was busy but we didn’t have to wait in line to be seated for a long time. The food was good, hot,fresh, delicious, and decent amount. The atmosphere and design is GREAT. I loved how they have plants in middle. The servants were just ok, the check table and make sure everything is ok, but they are not nice and friendly.

I love this place! My new favourite brunch spot in Edmonton! The staff are friendly, the decor is fresh and welcoming and the food is delicious. They also have options for vegetarians and both of them tasted great. You can also substitute meat for tomato jam. It wasn't too crowded when we went on Saturday for brunch which is nice when compared to the other great brinch spots downtown. This place is definitely worth checking out!

3rd time coming for their prix fixe menu on Tuesday evening, usually the menu is incredible looking but the main dish was meatloaf and didnt look like it would satisfy any cravings. We opted to get a bunch of appies and dessert and oh my lord, they were phenomenal! Will be coming back for the fixe menu and also occasionally for the appetizers. Pro tip: they sell loaves of their insane food sourdough bread. Pick some up on the way home!

Café Linnea provides a cozy eclectic experience. Beautiful building, upbeat music playing, good space between tables. The service is great. Friendly people, who explain the meals and beverages in good detail. Funny staff, and hard working culinary chefs make each meal with intricate detail. It looks like everyone has a good time serving you. The menu was amazing. Going with a group of people allows you to see and taste a variety of French inspired meals. Each appetizer and meal was flavorful and full of culture. The desserts (partnered with the Duchess) is not less than magnificent. Edmonton is blessed to have a venue like this.

Amazing food just a little different. Very french inspired menu full of how else do input it, different breakfast food. Can't say it's traditional as traditional French breakfast is more like toast and coffee. The breakfast fare is lighter than your usual breakfast but still tasty and filling. We will be back..

I went for the monthly high tea - I enjoyed the food, which was expertly prepared, and the tea was perfectly steeped, with many nice choices. The experience was diminished by a draft that left me feeling cold, however, and we were uncomfortably close to the table next to us. I understand that the tea sold out, but there were two empty tables to my left the entire time we were there. Given the staggered seating times, staggering the seating would have made more sense.

Visited Cafe Linnea for their Canadian themed High Tea in July and had a great time. The ticketed event offers a modern twist on the afternoon tea spread, with many locally sourced and home grown ingredients, and friendly staff. They accomodated my dietary requirements without any problem The atmosphere is bright and calm, with lots of natural light and greenery. Will definitely be back!
